Full Moon energy is rising as this week begins. The waxing Moon in Leo is void of course Sunday evening as it prepares to make the move to Virgo–the sign of this month’s Full Moon. With both Mercury and Saturn retrograde in water signs Pisces and Scorpio respectively, prepare for a bumpy ride. In addition the energy isn’t too fabulous this week, so self-care should be written into your schedule with a bold pen rather than pencil this week. So, without further ado, here is this week’s astrological predictions (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PST).
Sunday 24 March 2013 (0 Stars): As you can tell by the star count, we get little lift off from Celestial forces. There is only one aspect, a Moon-Venus opposition at 8:50 PM that will require from us careful balancing in love and money matters. The Moon is void of course after that aspect, but enters Virgo at 10:52 PM; health concerns, care of our dependents and our work and service commitments are up for review for the next couple of days.
Monday 25 March 2013 (2 Stars): This day will be a busy one, with many aspects–besides the Full Moon; look sharp to stay on top of the swift pace. We begin with a deceptive opposition between the Moon and Neptune at 4:22 AM; avoid self-delusion and make solid choices that won’t get you into hot water later. Also, avoid making verbal agreements or signing contracts at this time as your thinking may be muddled or others may attempt to deceive you. The Full Moon arrives at 12:26 PM (at 7 degrees of Virgo); Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius natives (and those of you with planets early in the aforementioned signs) are the guests of honor at this Full Moon. Something pertaining to your work situation, health or dependent care concerns is likely to end and you can anticipate news about it within the next 48-72 hours.
Moon square Jupiter at 12:35 PM speaks to painting ourselves into a corner with poor spending or other choices while the Sun square Jupiter seconds the motion that over doing anything is likely to produce problems for us at this time. Venus moves into Pisces at 6:03 PM making our love nature romantic and our aesthetics beautifully ethereal until it switches signs to Aries 22 March 2013. This is a wonderful time to pitch creative projects (art, photography, music, dance or film) for financial reward.
Networking with power players may be one way to catch a lucky break; the Moon trine Pluto at 7:05 PM might net you a big fish if you get busy at meetups or via LinkedIn, etc. This is also an excellent aspect for experiencing a breakthrough in researching a mystery, reforming bad habits or therapeutic counseling work. We wrap up the day with a sextile between the Moon and Saturn at 7:51 PM; sort out your priorities, plan, organize and de-clutter to make the most of the energy from this aspect.
Moon in Virgo colors: Black, navy blue, pale blue, green, tan or peach. Crystals: agate, moss agate, peridot, green jade, celestite, fluorite, aquamarine or amethyst. Incense/Essential oils: patchouli, lavender, sandalwood or mint.
Tuesday 26 February 2013 (1 Star): Another lack luster day and our one bright aspect, a Mercury-Mars conjunction arrives at 1:09 AM. This aspect may create insomnia issues or spark arguments and is probably best for preparing a presentation or other communication events that requires passion. Mercury is on a roll as it gets into an opposition with the Moon at 9:22 AM; this is definitely a day to keep calm and maintain a diplomatic focus in your communications. Mars jumps back into the fray with an opposition with the Moon at 10:13 AM; the Full Moon energies haven’t dissipated, so take it easy out there. The Moon is void of course after that aspect; finish up old projects and if you haven’t seen anything culminate from the Full Moon yet, keep your eyes open!
Wednesday 27 February 2013 (1 Star): The Moon enters Libra at 5:02 AM and our key partnerships are front and center for the next couple of days. The Moon opposes Uranus at 5:11 PM; expect wild, erratic and stubborn interactions with others to pop up out of the blue. Our optimism returns and even a bit of good luck to boot when the Moon trines Jupiter at 6:35 PM.
Moon in Libra colors: Black, royal blue, cerulean blue, pink and pastel shades. Crystals: Celestite, opal, sapphire, rose quartz, fire agate, lapis lazuli or jade. Incense/Essential oils: vanilla, violet, mint or rose.
Thursday 28 February 2013 (1 Star): We prepare to bid goodbye to February 2013 with an opening salvo of a Moon-Venus square at 12:37 AM. Compromise may not even be an option in our dealings with loved ones or in money matters at this time–just do what you have to and make things work. Beware of being too idealistic though or even overly romantic when Venus conjoins Neptune at 5:37 AM; you definitely won’t be seeing clearly, so make agreements at a later date…much later seeing as how Mercury is retrograde. This is a good aspect for dreaming up new creative projects, however…just note that you should dream them up now and act on them later since the Moon is void of course until 9:33 AM tomorrow when it enters Scorpio.
Friday 1 March 2013 (5 Stars): We’re back in the game after the post Full Moon pall with a sextile between the Sun and Pluto at 5:35 AM; let people see your creative power or touch bases with key players in your industry. Whip creative projects into shape; organize and plan them for best results when the Sun trines Saturn at 12:31 PM. Saturn has a dampening effect on our energy, so note this aspect may make you feel a bit rundown.
Creative and mystical energies are on the rise when the Moon trines Neptune at 3:01 PM; perhaps a little afternoon meditation is in order? Money and love matters are back on track when the Moon trines Venus at 6:13 PM–so meet with a loved one after work and celebrate surviving this week’s energies! Margaritas all around!

Saturday 2 March 2013 (5 Stars): Moon sextile the ruler of Scorpio, Pluto at 4:49 AM is good for some law of attraction or visualization work. Onerous chores may have you up and at ’em early this morning when the Moon conjoins Saturn at 5:16 AM; you’re likely to yield a good outcome for your efforts, so knock your chores out early and enjoy a Moon-Sun trine at 6:35 AM. You should net some wonderful, creative ideas for your key projects, which you would have missed had you stood in bed! Make calls and handle important communications projects when the Moon trines Mercury at 12:48 PM.
