The waxing Moon in Gemini gets the new week off to a chatty, friendly and fun start. Spend some time out and about, communicate, touch bases with your siblings and enjoy this upbeat energy before the shift to the more home oriented Cancerian vibe on Monday. You’ll need to be prepared to tweak plans when the First Quarter Moon arrives later in the week and one of those plans will be switching gears for this site. I am happy to share with you the unveiling of my new home on the web, which you can see here! Sign up now for a reminder when the site goes live!
And now, on with the show (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PDT).
Sunday 14 April 2013 (5 Stars): A five star Sunday for you to get out and get your fun on! The fun begins with a scintillating sextile between the Moon and Uranus at 2:07 AM. Some of you funsters will be enjoying Saturday night into the wee hours of Sunday morning and others will receive some interesting downloads while in dream land. It’s all good, right? Joyful exuberance abounds when the Moon joins forces with Jupiter at 11:57 AM; everyone should be able to have a chatty good time!
Monday 15 April 2013 (5 Stars): Can you believe tax day (in America) is a five star day?! Whaaaat?! Well, let’s not question it, let’s just enjoy, starting with Venus entering Taurus at 12:26 AM. Your love for beautiful things, nature and a simpler, more organized life starts now!
Look for intuitive solutions for your key projects when the Moon forms a sextile to the Sun at 11:36 AM. You’ll want to get moving on those insights pronto thanks to a Moon-Mars sextile at 12:41 PM because the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until 7:49 PM tonight when it slides into its home sign of Cancer.
Work on your night moves with your partner or takes some time out for personal pampering when the Moon forms a sextile with Venus at 10:05 PM. I told you, not bad for tax day at all!
Tuesday 16 April 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon square Mercury at 2:48 AM snarls up communications with others as well as written and verbal projects; good thing this aspect happens fairly early in the day for those on the West coast. Early morning meditation gets a major boost from a Moon-Neptune trine at 5:18 AM; this is also a great time for brainstorming ideas for projects or challenges as your intuition will be on point now.
Take time to plan, organize or de-clutter your office when the Moon trines Saturn at 2:14 PM. Technical glitches or other wild/unwanted surprises are likely when the Moon squares Uranus at 3:12 PM. Heavy manipulation or news of such behavior from others, and even obsessive tendencies sneak up on us when the Moon opposes Pluto at 7:18 PM. Maybe you want to turn off the phone and stay off Facebook for awhile…
Wednesday 17 April 2013 (5 Stars): Just one aspect, but it’s a biggie and it doesn’t arrive till 5:20 PM when the Sun conjoins Mars in Aries. Passion and creativity are the dynamic duo of the day, so strut your stuff, but remember others may be feeling their power too!
Thursday 18 April 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon squares Mars at 5:16 AM and this energy could best be channeled into some gentle, non-combative activity like yoga to quell anger, frustration or just plan ornery behavior. That very same activity (yoga) will help you cope with First Quarter Moon challenges (Moon square the Sun at 5:31 AM; 28 degrees of Cancer) and even later in the day when the Moon squares Venus at 5:16 PM. Love and money may be off kilter, but you’ll be easy about it if you take the time to engage in walking, yoga, Qi-Gong or other calming activities. Also note, the Moon is void of course between 5:31 AM and 8:13 AM, so things may look much better once the emotional Moon jumps into fiery and fun loving Leo!
Chances are you will have some interesting problem solving solutions present themselves to you when Venus forms a sextile Neptune at 8:16 PM; if they don’t, go see a movie or listen to your favorite tunes and that may help you download some helpful advice from the Universe. You’ll be back in rare form (communications wise that is) when the Moon trines Mercury at 11:54 PM; not the best time to be awake and chatty, so you might just want to break out the melatonin and lavender rather than allow yourself to jump into late night projects.
Friday 19 April 2013 (2 Stars): A cold shoulder from a loved one or other depressing scenarios weigh on us when the Moon squares Saturn at 1:44 AM. Some unusual activity, surprise, shock or a Universal download arrives at 3:18 AM when the Moon trines Uranus. Our sunny nature supports us when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 2:06 PM helping us to cruise into the end of another work week. The Moon is void of course after that last aspect until tomorrow evening, so avoid starting new projects until then.
And the Sun lopes into Taurus at 3:03 PM (Happy Birthday to my Taurean friends!) moving our focus to our financial concerns, organizational matters, and a return to our love of nature over the next 30 days…
Saturday 20 April 2013 (3 Stars): Monkey mind runs rampant when the Moon conjoins Uranus at 2:20 AM–which is no help for those of us trying to get some shut eye. With some intention though, you could use this aspect to download a brilliant communications or tech project, so go for it! Another sleep buster arrives in the form of Mars moving into Taurus at 4:48 AM; just another indicator that the energy may be void of course, but still pretty physically focused and active today.
The Moon enters health and service oriented Virgo at 6:08 PM and then the Moon trines Mars at 6:58 PM; this aspect is great for some physical activity at the gym or a more personal tryst in private. Later action oriented energies meet up with sage intuitive planning when the Moon trines the Sun at 8:22 PM; take advantage of the opportunity to kick key projects into gear!
And that’s the wrap up for this week; by this time next week we’ll be on another page, literally, so sign up for a reminder when the new site is up and running!
If you have anything that is worrisome, challenging or mystifying, book your private Tarot or Astrology consultation with me here.
So long for now; I will see you next week on my brand new site (I can’t wait to show it to you)!

We’re headed into a Dark of the Moon phase as this lunar cycle slowly grinds to a close. The waning Pisces Moon offers a respite from the churn and activity of our normal schedule on this last day of the weekend, but we’re off to the races on Monday as the Moon shifts into red hot Aries. Monday’s shift to Mars fueled Aries is the prelude to Wednesday’s New Moon in Aries giving us a green light for moving forward in a big way (finally)! Mercury is no longer retrograde and slowing our efforts, and we will have a new lunar cycle to boot–sweet! So, on with our weekly predictions (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PDT).
Sunday 7 April 2013 (2 Stars): A low energy day as befits the end of a lunar cycle; we begin with a Moon-Pluto sextile at 2:37 AM. Emotions are intense and we can channel this intensity into visualization, affirmation or law of attraction work to break old habits (if we’re up in the wee hours of the day, that is). The Moon square Jupiter at 5:06 AM indicates that if we have overdone it this week in terms of working too much, eating too much, overspending, etc., our habits may come back to bite us in the you know what; slowing down a bit and throttling back on spending, etc., is the best answer for now.
Spend your evening hours working on written or verbal communications projects when the Moon conjoins Mercury at 9:10 PM. The Moon is void of course after that last aspect, so start your work prior to the last aspect and avoid new projects until the Moon enters Aries tomorrow afternoon.
Monday 8 April 2013 (2 Stars): The energy will perk up, but not until the Moon enters Aries at 12:02 PM. Your personal projects and key concerns are in the spotlight not only for the next couple of days, but all the way through the next lunar cycle (because the New Moon is also in Aries). The Dark of the Moon phase energy isn’t going to provide much lift off and neither is the fact that there are no exact aspects today, so take it easy and get ready for blast off Wednesday.
Tuesday 9 April 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon conjunct upstart Uranus at 4:56 AM jangles nerves, brings startling insights and surprising news early in the day–probably a lot earlier than you might like. Heavy handed tactics from bosses or VIP’s via a Moon square to Pluto at 9:29 AM will likely try your patience; just roll with it if you can. Optimism and a breath of fresh air in terms of our outlook arrives when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 12:50 PM.
Wednesday 10 April 2013 (3 Stars): The energy would be higher today except for a lengthy void of course Moon, but we begin with the New Moon in Aries arriving at 2:35 AM (20 degrees of Aries). Rethink the challenges that occurred during that lovely Piscean Mercury retrograde we just finished and the last lunar cycle. It’s time to reorganize, reboot and transform the situations that were wonky into something brand spanking new!
The urge to hit the floor running will strike early thanks to a conjunction between the Moon and Mars at 6:02 AM; perhaps a trip to the gym or an early morning jog will get your day off to the right start. The Moon conjoins Venus at 9:25 AM, so you might just want to jog over to the local salon for a bit of pampering before going into the office. The Moon is void of course after that last aspect until this evening; table plans for new starts until 8:22 PM when the Moon enters Taurus.
Thursday 11 April 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon is slowly gaining power as this new lunar cycle gets underway, so on this rather low energy day with the Moon in Taurus, try to spend some time in nature, review your financial statements and take pains to organize and de-clutter your spaces.
The first aspect of the day, a Moon-Neptune sextile at 5:06 AM is a great aspect for day dreaming about your goals, doing some visualization or creative work and even jotting down some notes about interesting dreams as you awaken. There will be a need to balance and compromise your needs versus the needs of others when the Moon opposes Saturn at 2:36 PM; situations and needs of the people around you may feel oppressive and burdensome at this time. Therapeutic work, research, law of attraction and networking with head honchos are all activities that benefit from a trine between the Moon and Pluto at 6:48 PM.
Friday 12 April 2013 (3 Stars): While we don’t have a void of course Moon today, nor do we have any aspects to help boost our energy, so you’ll need to bring your own sunshine to today’s events. The only celestial event on the the books for today is that Pluto, ruler of Scorpio makes its retrograde station and won’t return to forward motion until 20 September 2013–yes, you heard me correctly 20 September 2013. Pluto rules organized crime, power, sex, wisdom and mystical experiences; expect these topics to be more prevalent in the news in the next few days as Pluto shifts its energy into a more internally expressed mode than is normally the case. Scorpio natives can anticipate that their personal projects may feel stuck or stymied during this period; consider this a lengthy time out from the Universe (as if you needed another one, what with Saturn already retrograde in your sign). Make this a time to observe what’s working and what’s not and then plan to make necessary changes in the Fall.
Saturday 13 April 2013 (1 Star): This last day of a New Moon week still sports low energy, but we at least begin the day in mental high gear thanks to a sextile between the Moon and Mercury at 5:30 AM. The Moon square Neptune at 4:26 PM suggests deceptive promises or delusional thinking on our own part undermines our best intentions; postpone decision making until you have more clarity and truthful answers from others.
Mercury enters Aries at 7:37 PM so our communication and thought processes will be all about our personal needs and concerns until 2 May 2013 when Mercury moves into Taurus.
I hope you enjoyed April’s Astrological newsletter; if you missed it, it’s not too late, sign up here and I will get it out to you Monday 8 April 2013. Also, be sure you join me next week, I will be interviewed and giving free readings in an online radio show. Details forthcoming as soon as I have them! And that’s about it for now, be well and until next time…

Welcome to the end of March and Happy Easter! Moon in Sagittarius is a fun, upbeat energy that also encompasses the subject of faith, so hopefully if you’re celebrating Easter it’s a really great day for you and yours!
We begin the work week under a void of course Moon, so make Monday all about cleaning up and finishing old projects–which also matches nicely with the end of Mercury’s retrograde shadow on the 6th, this coming Saturday. The one fly in the ointment this week is the Last Quarter Moon in Capricorn; there were probably a few bumps in the road for your pet projects this past lunar cycle and now’s the time to sort through some of those challenges in preparation for a new lunar cycle beginning next week! Before I begin the forecast, please note that the times indicated in this blog are PDT.
31 March 2013 (4 Stars): Ordinarily this would have been a five star day, but we have a total of 10 aspects today, five of which which are challenging, beginning with Venus forming a square to Pluto at 3:10 AM; look out for manipulations on the love/sex front if you’re up and about in the wee hours of the day. That aspect is quickly followed by a Moon-Neptune square at 3:15 AM, so beware of deceptive dealings from others and even some confused thinking of your own. Put off decision making until you have more mental clarity as self sabotage or sabotage from others is a definite possibility at this time.
Spring has sprung and our thoughts turn to optimism and love when Venus forms a sextile to Jupiter at 7:49 AM–just don’t use that optimism as an excuse to party hearty with your credit cards. Creative downloads, surprises and wild, wacky fun with friends arrives via a Moon-Uranus trine at 10:41 AM, so enjoy! The Moon trine the Sun at 3:14 PM offers you intuitive help with your key projects; create a time table to act on your hot new ideas as soon as possible. Careful balancing of time, money or your energy is called for when the Moon opposes Jupiter at 4:03 PM; moderation and compromise are key to not getting yourself into hot water at this time. Spend time with loved ones when the Moon trines Venus at 4:44 PM, but table plans for communicating with others when the Moon squares Mercury at 7:13 PM as you’re likely to find your efforts don’t yield the desired result.
Creative projects may run into major obstacles from a boss, VIP or other bigwig when the Sun squares Pluto at 8:03 PM, so be prepared. You’ll want to take steps to fend off insomnia when the Moon forms a trine to Mars at 10:00 PM; hopefully that cup of coffee or tea you had late in the day won’t keep you awake! And if you can’t sleep, there’s always the 24 hour gym…or a romantic tryst–whichever you prefer! The Moon is void of course after that aspect until late Monday evening; table plans for launching new projects until the Moon switches signs tomorrow.
1 April 2013 (1 Star): This day boasts just one aspect, a sextile between the Sun and Jupiter at 5:24 AM–great for boosting one’s creativity and optimism, if you’re up that is. The day is spent in void of course la-la land though, so you may choose to de-clutter or rest rather than take the world by storm just yet.
It’s time to focus on your career goals when the Moon enters Capricorn at 10:35 PM and remember to be prudent and conservative in your spending habits for the next couple of days as well.
2 April 2013 (3 Stars): The Moon sextile Neptune at 5:48 AM may offer you some prophetic dreams, so make sure you capture them upon waking. Challenges with electronic equipment or erratic behavior from others is possible when the Moon squares Uranus at 1:25 PM. Clean up, organize and plan your key projects when the Moon forms a sextile to Saturn at 3:35 PM and then take time to connect with centers of influence in your industry when the Moon conjoins Pluto at 6:10 PM.
The Last Quarter Moon clocks in at 9:36 PM (Moon square Sun; 13 degrees of Capricorn); if one of your goals–particularly a career goal, has run aground, it’s now time to get out your thinking cap and figure out a new plan of action. This is also a good time to pat yourself on the back for any goals you can tick off your goals list for this lunar cycle! Next week’s New Moon will offer you an opportunity to relaunch any endeavors that fell flat this cycle.
3 April 2013 (1 Star): The Moon square Venus at 12:13 AM may have you lying awake worrying over love or money matters. Not to worry as you may have a new idea to resolve some of your challenges when the Moon forms a sextile to Mercury at 1:57 AM, but the Moon square Mars at 3:35 AM may find you feeling angry or frustrated (possibly because you’re still awake at 3:00 in the morning!). The Moon is void of course after that last aspect and won’t shift signs until Thursday in the wee hours of the day, so spend this day finishing up old projects rather than beginning anything new.
4 April 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon enters Aquarius at 1:41 AM and our key friendships, group associations and deepest desires take center stage for the next day or so. The Moon sextile Uranus at 5:02 PM may offer you an ingenious idea or two to help you with a key project, but you’re likely to have onerous tasks to dispatch when the Moon squares Saturn at 6:48 PM. You’ll be feeling much better about life and maybe even a tad lucky when the Moon trines Jupiter at 11:26 PM. Wouldn’t it wonderful if we could always feel so blessed?
5 April 2013 (3 Stars): The Moon sextile the Sun at 5:11 AM is great for coming up with new ideas for your challenges or projects. You might want to nip into your favorite salon for a pampering treatment when the Moon forms a sextile to Venus at 9:00 AM and then it’s time to get busy with the heavy lifting items on your To-Do List when the Moon forms a sextile to Mars at 10:22 AM. Just remember not to start anything new since the Moon became void of course after that last aspect and won’t change signs until Saturday morning.
6 April 2013 (3 Stars): We’re finally completely done with Mercury’s retrograde and retrograde shadow (yay!). We begin the day with the Moon entering Pisces at 6:00 AM; take time out to smell the roses, see a movie or enjoy creative pursuits during the next couple of days.
The Moon conjoins Neptune at 1:48 PM encouraging creative pursuits or meditation while Venus conjoining Mars at 9:58 PM could create a dynamic romantic energy for you and someone special. We end the day with a work oriented Moon-Saturn trine at 11:21 that hopefully doesn’t cast a pall on what could be a really romantic day for you and your lover…

We begin our week with the energy of Palm Sunday–and you’ll want to keep a firm grip on your spiritual nature the rest of the week since this is the wind-up for a mid-week Full Moon in Libra. And as is often the case during a Full Moon week, the energy is challenging, so think about where and when you can add some self-care work to your routine! Note, that as always, all times indicated in this blog are PDT.
Sunday 24 March 2013 (0 Stars): The Moon enters Virgo at 8:49 AM bringing our focus to issues of health care, service, work and care of our dependents. Now is a great time to stock up on vitamins, herbal remedies and other alternative health care remedies (or pencil in a visit to your health practitioner). The Moon in opposition to Neptune spells problems with our perceptions; we may be engaging in escapist behaviors, deluding ourselves or others may hope to delude us! Either way, it’s best not to make any agreements now, either verbal or written, until clarity of thought returns.
Late night chats should be called off as well since the Moon will be opposing Mercury at 11:38 PM; compromise is your watch word here, but it might just be best to wait until after the Full Moon to hammer out agreements or complete communication projects.
Monday 25 March 2013 (2 Stars): The Moon sextile Saturn at 4:01 AM hints that you may have some early morning duty that pulls you out of the bed sooner than you might wish. The Moon square Jupiter at 4:31 suggests you reign in your expectations and promises as exaggeration or over promising could get you into a lot of hot water (if it hasn’t already done so). Pitch your grand plan to a key player in your industry, conduct research work to uncover a mystery or do some law of attraction work to assist you in breaking a persistent, unhelpful habit when the Moon trines Pluto at 5:45 AM. Note: the Moon is void of course the remainder of day, so stick to finishing up tasks today rather than launching new projects at this time.
Tuesday 26 March 2013 (1 Star): Mars sextile Jupiter at 3:27 AM could produce some racket in the middle of the night to disturb your sleep; it’s really not a good thing for aggressive Mars to come into contact with expansive Jupiter, so keep your eyes open and avoid trouble. Bring the melatonin, the noise reduction headphones and some sleep mp3s to bed Monday evening–then cross your fingers for a peaceful night’s sleep!
The Moon enters Libra at 2:32 PM and our key relationships are in focus leading up to Wednesday’s Full Moon; later Mars mixes it up via a square with Pluto at 8:44 PM. If Mars getting into it with Jupiter isn’t good, mixing it up with the Lord of Death (Pluto) is really not good. Do what you can to be home early and out of harms way.
Wednesday 27 March 2013 (1 Star): This one star day is just begging for some peaceful, solitary meditation work, so do what you can to carve out some time to just be still today. The Moon opposes Venus at 1:49 AM–not a good sign since our Full Moon at 2:27 AM is in relationship oriented, Venus ruled Libra. Relationships may suddenly come unglued…so we might just say this is a love (or money) on the rocks kind of Full Moon experience. On a side note, those of you who have planets impacted by this Full Moon may find it difficult to sleep–so keep that melatonin and lavender oil close at hand.
The Full Moon at six degrees of Libra will impact Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn natives who were born early in their respective signs, as well as those who have planets (other than the Sun) early in the signs just mentioned. Since Mars and Pluto have both been active within the last 24 hours (and Mars and Pluto are active again today) it is possible we may hear of some earth shaking news for a political leader or some aggressive action being taken on the world stage. Be careful out there folks, this is not the time to become embroiled in a defiant scenario with anyone.
The Moon in opposition to Uranus at 5:05 AM suggests some early morning shock greets us upon awakening, while the Moon trine Jupiter at 9:50 AM offers humanity the courage and optimism to find the bright side in all things. The Moon square Pluto at 10:27 AM brings a wrestling match with VIP’s or the boss; no point in arguing–especially if the person in question is known to be a bit of a hot head; just do as you’re asked and roll on. This is doubly true since the Moon opposes hot headed Mars at 11:14 AM! And that ladies and gentlemen is all the mayhem I think we ever need to have on a Full Moon in Libra day! The Moon is void of course after that last aspect until tomorrow, which gives us some time to recover from the early morning bad juju the Universe has thrown our way.
Thursday 28 March 2013 (4 Stars): The Universe plays kiss and makeup with a four(ish) star day after yesterday’s Celestial mash-up beginning with an awkward Mercury trine Saturn aspect at 2:48 AM (you’ll see why I say four(ish) in a moment). The Mercury/Saturn meetup may give you some anxiety if you’re up and about, so if you can’t sleep try some light yoga or meditation to ease your worries. The Sun conjoining Venus at 10:05 AM could bring the soulmate of your dreams front and center–and this would be a classic Full Moon reveal given that the Full Moon in Libra is all about partnerships (Full Moons in general are all about something hidden being revealed). There could also be funding for a major creative project since Venus rules money and other things that we value.
Another sign that love may find you suddenly (or money!)–Venus conjoins Uranus at 4:01 PM. There is some sudden shifting that is likely to occur around love and money issues today, no doubt, as the Sun conjoins Uranus at 5:38 PM. The Moon finally enters Scorpio at 5:54 PM, so all of that quaking took place while the Moon was void of course–the Celestial pranksters trying to punk us, you could say. But aspects are what we make them, so set some intentions for the seeds of something wonderful to burst into full bloom once the Moon skips into transformational Scorpio 😉
Friday 29 March 2013 (4 Stars): The Moon trine Neptune at 12:52 AM brings prophetic dreams, so be sure to have pen and paper to capture them before you go off to sleep. Bombastic communications of some sort arrive courtesy of a Mercury-Jupiter square at 9:56 AM; be prepared to put up with a lot of hot air (or traffic since Mercury rules transportation). The Moon conjoins Saturn at 11:13 AM; it’s likely we’ll have boring or slow moving, tedious tasks arrive at this time that we can’t shake off. Mercury sextile Pluto at 11:31 AM may give your communications an added dose of pizzaz and power while the Moon sextile Pluto at 1:18 PM heightens your intuitive abilities and is also a helpmate for uncovering secrets or breaking challenging habits.
Finish off the day by giving a wonderful presentation–or polishing p one when the Moon trines Mercury at 1:25 PM. The Moon is void of course after that last aspect until tomorrow night, so avoid starting new projects until after the Moon changes signs.
Saturday 30 March 2013 (0 Stars): The Moon enters Sagittarius at 8:13 PM after being void of course all day; legal concerns, affairs with people at a distance and higher education are just some of the things we will be focusing on in the next couple of days. Meanwhile, the void of course period is good for finishing up old projects, meditation and resting–just don’t start any new projects!
We’ve only got one more day left and we can say goodbye to March and the first quarter of the year. Now might be a good time to see how your projects are tracking and you can schedule your private Astrology or Tarot consultation here. I’m looking forward to working with you!
And that’s it for this week; join me next Saturday when I’ll be dishing all the Celestial news you can use; till then be safe and…

The waxing Moon in Gemini gets us off to a pretty good start, but is closely followed by the First Quarter Moon where we will need to check and possibly reboot our plans for this lunar cycle. In addition Mercury returns to forward motion, but it must catch up to its pre-retrograde position (which occurs 6 April 2013) before we are truly free of retrograde surprises. Continue to double check your plans and continue your self-care this week to cope with the week’s stresses
One last note before I begin the predictions, Spring begins this week–and we’re definitely feeling the heat in Los Angeles already. Hopefully you’re enjoying warmer temps in your neck of the woods too and now on with the show (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PDT).
Sunday 17 March 2013 (3 Stars): Moon square Neptune at 6:39 AM hints at self-delusion, mental confusion or even possible deceptions by others. It goes without saying that with this kind of energy present you’ll want to hold off on making agreements until clarity of mind returns (or as much clarity as one can muster while Mercury is retrograde in Pisces anyway). You’re likely to be up early thanks to a sextile between the Moon and Mars at 7:29 AM, but don’t count on hearing much good news when the Moon squares Mercury at 10:30 AM. Hold off on key communications projects and avoid making requests at this time as you’re not likely to receive the answers you want or need.
Speaking of Mercury, it makes its direct station at 1:03 PM and will begin to make up its lost territory in the next couple of weeks (thank goodness). Bright ideas are available to those who need them for problem solving or creative projects when the Moon forms a sextile to Uranus at 2:59 PM. You’ll feel optimistic and back on top of things when the Moon conjoins Jupiter at 6:48 PM as we close out the weekend and prepare for the start of the work week.
Monday 18 March 2013 (4 Stars): We have no exact aspects today, which means there will be nothing blocking your success (except whatever energy you bring to situations). A little self-care in the morning and positive intentions should help you create a positive start to your work week.
Tuesday 19 March 2013 (2 Stars): A square between the Moon and Venus at 5:18 AM may, unfortunately, have you dealing with financial or romantic challenges; the challenges continue when the First Quarter Moon (Moon square the Sun; 29 degrees of Gemini) clocks in at 10:27 AM. Review your plans for this lunar cycle and make changes to get your goals back on track. The Moon is void of course after that last aspect, but quickly enters Cancer at 11:55 AM and then our focus moves to issues around home and family concerns.
There will be inspiration aplenty when the Moon trines Neptune at 7:39 PM, whether you are seeking ideas for creative projects or reconnection to source, you’ll have what you need. Communications projects receive a hefty boost when the Moon trines Mercury at 11:54 PM, so take care of your key written or verbal projects at this time.
Wednesday 20 March 2013 (1 Star): The Moon square Mars at 12:32 AM hints at possible heated exchanges with others or other sleep scuttling challenges in the early hours of the day, so you might want to have the melatonin and lavender essential oils ready to go at bedtime. The Sun enters Aries at 4:02 AM, also known as the Vernal Equinox–so happy Spring everyone! Shocks and surprises of the unwanted kind arrive via a Moon-Uranus square at 4:05 AM; be prepared to deal with wild or eccentric behavior from others if you’re up and about at this hour.
Organization, planning and de-cluttering get the nod when the Moon trines Saturn at 9:41 AM, but we may find ourselves at odds with our boss or other important personage when the Moon opposes Pluto at 11:01 AM; with a bit of forethought you can probably hit upon an amicable agreement all parties can agree to…the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until tomorrow night, so avoid starting new projects in the meanwhile.
Thursday 21 March 2013 (0 Stars): Venus enters Aries at 8:15 PM bringing our focus to our personal financial and beautification projects–hey, spring has sprung, so think about what you might want to do to look and feel your best. The Moon finally enters Leo at 11:50 PM; enjoy creative/romantic projects for the next couple of days.
Friday 22 March 2013 (5 Stars) A plethora of aspects descend today beginning with a love and money supportive trine between the Moon and Venus at 12:14 AM (a late night date gets better after mid-night *wink*). Intuitive prompts may haunt your dreams when the Moon trines the Sun at 3:41 AM, so make sure to have pen and paper at your bedside to capture prophetic gems. You may feel the need for speed or other wild adventures when Mars conjoins Uranus at 11:17 AM, but don’t let your better judgement get lost in the hurly burly of your emotions. The Moon trines Uranus at 3:38 PM and you (or others) will probably still want to be a bit wild and crazy or may find yourself deluged with exciting creative downloads; either way, look for a walk on the wild side at this time.
The need for passion, action or assertiveness returns when the Moon trines Mars at 3:54 PM and we will sail into the evening hours buoyed by feelings of brotherly love and optimism when the Moon sextiles Jupiter at 8:05 PM. All that uplifting energy hits a wall when the Moon squares Saturn at 8:28 PM, so be prepared to have some challenge present itself. It’s likely there will be no easy answers, at least for now; be prepared to make concessions for peace.
Saturday 23 March 2014 (5 Stars): We haven’t any exact aspects today and it’s the weekend, so party hearty and enjoy the energy of a waxing Leo Moon. Oh, I am soooo not enjoying Mercury retrograde in Pisces these days, how about you? We have quite awhile before it’s over, so my best recommendation is lots of self-care (Reiki, massage, exercise, extra rest, eat healthfully, etc.) and take time out to become aware of where you’re going to make life changes once Mercury gets back to its old self 6 April 2013…
Speaking of Pisces, the waning Moon is transiting through Pisces now and we begin the work week with a New Moon in Pisces. Now is a really good time to begin (or to amp up) your meditation practice; alternatively you can flex your artistic muscles via dance, music, film or other creative projects. Pisces/Neptune rules these activities and you may have noticed an increased interest in creative or spiritual topics recently. Go ahead and indulge yourself, the Universe is giving you a huge thumbs up for these activities at this time.
Oh, and don’t forget to move your clocks forward today an hour if you live in the USA (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PDT).
Sunday 10 March 2013 (4 Stars): The waning Moon in Pisces conjoins its ruler Neptune at 5:20 AM, so have pen and paper at your bedside to capture intuitive/prophetic dreams (and don’t forget to set the intention to receive a helpful dream as you drift off to sleep). The Moon conjoins Mercury at 1:33 PM setting your mental gears whirring and offering an opportunity for you to catch up on your written or verbal communications projects at this time. The Moon square Jupiter at 2:39 PM gives warning to a tendency to want to over-do things at this time; avoid spending too much or making promises that will be difficult to keep.
Take some time to plan and organize your key projects when the Moon trines Saturn at 6:46 PM and then you’ll start the work week organized and ready to go! Later you may want to set plans in motion to be of assistance to major players in your industry when the Moon forms a sextile to Pluto at 7:00 PM; be a friend and boost your rep at the same time!
Monday 11 March 2013 (5 Stars): The Moon conjoins Venus at 4:33 AM smoothing out the wrinkles in your love and money situations as we start a new work week. The Moon conjoins the Sun at 12:51 PM (New Moon at 21 degrees of Pisces) and your creative and spiritual projects should be prepped for lift off now; this is especially true if you’re working on something top secret! Just know the Moon is void of course after that last aspect; wait until the Moon enters Aries tomorrow morning if you absolutely must launch something new.
Mars enters its home sign of Aries at 11:26 PM and it’s on ladies and gentlemen! Time to focus keenly on your key personal projects until Mars enters Taurus 20 April 2013.
Tuesday 12 March 2013 (5 Stars): We have the energy of an early New Moon at our backs and though the energy is still low, you are now relatively free to move about the cabin. Mercury is retrograde, so it’s probably best to work on things that are under wraps under this New Moon (you can spring your new project on the unsuspecting world during the next lunar cycle).
The Moon enters Aries at 4:17 AM and then Mars urges you to get moving when it conjoins the Moon at at 4:35 AM–rather early, I know. You may be overflowing with new creative ideas, exciting news and even a surprise or two when the Moon conjoins Uranus at 6:06 PM. All in all you should finish the day feeling pretty positive about life as the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 8:52 PM.
Wednesday 13 March 2013 (0 Stars): You will want to avoid being out and about in the wee hours of the morning when the Moon squares Pluto at 1:01 AM; angry or violent folks looking for trouble are to be avoided at all costs. The Moon is void of course the remainder of the day, so make this a day to clean up and finish up old projects rather than starting anything new (if you can).
Thursday 14 March 2013 (4 Stars): The Moon finally lopes into Taurus at 12:08 PM; we have to wait till 7:08 PM before its next aspect when it forms an inspirational sextile to Neptune. Be sure to pencil in time for creative projects or meditation after your work day. Be careful not to work yourself up too much via late night conversations or written projects when the Moon forms a sextile to Mercury at 11:39 PM–after all it’s time for a good night’s sleep!
Friday 15 March 2013 (1 Star): The Moon in opposition to Saturn at 9:27 AM may find you at odds with a business partner or lover; seek to find areas of agreement that will work for everyone.
Rubbing shoulders with big wigs or doing some law of attraction work when the Moon trines Pluto at 10:11 AM may yield you a powerful, transformative bit of luck, so go for it!
Saturday 16 March 2013 (4 Stars): Spruce up your beauty routines or take time for a mani/pedi when the Moon forms a sextile to Venus at 9:35 AM. Later you’ll want to cull your intuition for new ideas for key projects when the Moon sextiles the Sun at 4:11 PM; remember, just take notes, no actions for now since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until 11:09 PM when it enters chatty, yet perceptive Gemini.

Full Moon energy is rising as this week begins. The waxing Moon in Leo is void of course Sunday evening as it prepares to make the move to Virgo–the sign of this month’s Full Moon. With both Mercury and Saturn retrograde in water signs Pisces and Scorpio respectively, prepare for a bumpy ride. In addition the energy isn’t too fabulous this week, so self-care should be written into your schedule with a bold pen rather than pencil this week. So, without further ado, here is this week’s astrological predictions (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PST).
Sunday 24 March 2013 (0 Stars): As you can tell by the star count, we get little lift off from Celestial forces. There is only one aspect, a Moon-Venus opposition at 8:50 PM that will require from us careful balancing in love and money matters. The Moon is void of course after that aspect, but enters Virgo at 10:52 PM; health concerns, care of our dependents and our work and service commitments are up for review for the next couple of days.
Monday 25 March 2013 (2 Stars): This day will be a busy one, with many aspects–besides the Full Moon; look sharp to stay on top of the swift pace. We begin with a deceptive opposition between the Moon and Neptune at 4:22 AM; avoid self-delusion and make solid choices that won’t get you into hot water later. Also, avoid making verbal agreements or signing contracts at this time as your thinking may be muddled or others may attempt to deceive you. The Full Moon arrives at 12:26 PM (at 7 degrees of Virgo); Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius natives (and those of you with planets early in the aforementioned signs) are the guests of honor at this Full Moon. Something pertaining to your work situation, health or dependent care concerns is likely to end and you can anticipate news about it within the next 48-72 hours.
Moon square Jupiter at 12:35 PM speaks to painting ourselves into a corner with poor spending or other choices while the Sun square Jupiter seconds the motion that over doing anything is likely to produce problems for us at this time. Venus moves into Pisces at 6:03 PM making our love nature romantic and our aesthetics beautifully ethereal until it switches signs to Aries 22 March 2013. This is a wonderful time to pitch creative projects (art, photography, music, dance or film) for financial reward.
Networking with power players may be one way to catch a lucky break; the Moon trine Pluto at 7:05 PM might net you a big fish if you get busy at meetups or via LinkedIn, etc. This is also an excellent aspect for experiencing a breakthrough in researching a mystery, reforming bad habits or therapeutic counseling work. We wrap up the day with a sextile between the Moon and Saturn at 7:51 PM; sort out your priorities, plan, organize and de-clutter to make the most of the energy from this aspect.
Moon in Virgo colors: Black, navy blue, pale blue, green, tan or peach. Crystals: agate, moss agate, peridot, green jade, celestite, fluorite, aquamarine or amethyst. Incense/Essential oils: patchouli, lavender, sandalwood or mint.
Tuesday 26 February 2013 (1 Star): Another lack luster day and our one bright aspect, a Mercury-Mars conjunction arrives at 1:09 AM. This aspect may create insomnia issues or spark arguments and is probably best for preparing a presentation or other communication events that requires passion. Mercury is on a roll as it gets into an opposition with the Moon at 9:22 AM; this is definitely a day to keep calm and maintain a diplomatic focus in your communications. Mars jumps back into the fray with an opposition with the Moon at 10:13 AM; the Full Moon energies haven’t dissipated, so take it easy out there. The Moon is void of course after that aspect; finish up old projects and if you haven’t seen anything culminate from the Full Moon yet, keep your eyes open!
Wednesday 27 February 2013 (1 Star): The Moon enters Libra at 5:02 AM and our key partnerships are front and center for the next couple of days. The Moon opposes Uranus at 5:11 PM; expect wild, erratic and stubborn interactions with others to pop up out of the blue. Our optimism returns and even a bit of good luck to boot when the Moon trines Jupiter at 6:35 PM.
Moon in Libra colors: Black, royal blue, cerulean blue, pink and pastel shades. Crystals: Celestite, opal, sapphire, rose quartz, fire agate, lapis lazuli or jade. Incense/Essential oils: vanilla, violet, mint or rose.
Thursday 28 February 2013 (1 Star): We prepare to bid goodbye to February 2013 with an opening salvo of a Moon-Venus square at 12:37 AM. Compromise may not even be an option in our dealings with loved ones or in money matters at this time–just do what you have to and make things work. Beware of being too idealistic though or even overly romantic when Venus conjoins Neptune at 5:37 AM; you definitely won’t be seeing clearly, so make agreements at a later date…much later seeing as how Mercury is retrograde. This is a good aspect for dreaming up new creative projects, however…just note that you should dream them up now and act on them later since the Moon is void of course until 9:33 AM tomorrow when it enters Scorpio.
Friday 1 March 2013 (5 Stars): We’re back in the game after the post Full Moon pall with a sextile between the Sun and Pluto at 5:35 AM; let people see your creative power or touch bases with key players in your industry. Whip creative projects into shape; organize and plan them for best results when the Sun trines Saturn at 12:31 PM. Saturn has a dampening effect on our energy, so note this aspect may make you feel a bit rundown.
Creative and mystical energies are on the rise when the Moon trines Neptune at 3:01 PM; perhaps a little afternoon meditation is in order? Money and love matters are back on track when the Moon trines Venus at 6:13 PM–so meet with a loved one after work and celebrate surviving this week’s energies! Margaritas all around!
Moon in Scorpio colors: Black, brown, maroon, orange or gray. Crystals: Jet, obsidian, tiger’s eye, opal, turquoise. Incense/Essential oils: Myrrh, cedar, vanilla, violet or patchouli.
Saturday 2 March 2013 (5 Stars): Moon sextile the ruler of Scorpio, Pluto at 4:49 AM is good for some law of attraction or visualization work. Onerous chores may have you up and at ’em early this morning when the Moon conjoins Saturn at 5:16 AM; you’re likely to yield a good outcome for your efforts, so knock your chores out early and enjoy a Moon-Sun trine at 6:35 AM. You should net some wonderful, creative ideas for your key projects, which you would have missed had you stood in bed! Make calls and handle important communications projects when the Moon trines Mercury at 12:48 PM.
And that’s a wrap! We’re coming up on the end of the first quarter of 2013 already! Now might be a good time to have a reading to see how your key projects are lining up for the year or to sort out challenges in work, love or money matters. I will be available for readings Saturday and Sunday; you can sign up for my free Astrology newsletter and book your private Astrology or Tarot reading here.

Greetings Friends! Welcome to what I’m calling Retrograde Week; yes, that’s right–we’ve got some retrograde energy starting up now and that means taking things slowly and not pushing to get desired outcomes just yet. Key projects don’t have to come … Continue reading
Well, that last Full Moon really kicked my butt; I hope that you all had a much easier time of it than I did! Last night’s New Moon in Aquarius brings us to a new cycle, one focused on group associations, dreams, goals and our heart’s deepest desires. If you’ve got big goals, this is the lunar cycle to get moving on them! Sunday afternoon the Moon switches signs to Pisces and we will have a laid back energy as begin the work week–that all switches up Tuesday evening, so be prepared to put pedal to the metal Wednesday morning when you set off for the office. And now, let’s get down to business (Note: all times indicated in this blog are PST).
Sunday 10 February 2013 (1 Star): Mars square Jupiter at 12:12 AM suggests a possibility for over doing and even getting ourselves into harms way either in a physical fight or taking on some sort of daredevil type risks; slow your row, as a friend of mine used to say. The Moon enters Pisces at 1:20 PM; hopefully you didn’t try launching anything new during the earlier part of the day when the Moon was void of course.
Meditation and creative activities get the nod when the Moon conjoins Neptune at 5:29 PM, so pencil in some time for your crafts, artistic disciplines or spiritual studies at this time. Bills and other responsibilities may weigh heavily when Venus squares Saturn at 10:42 PM; time to put on that thinking cap and come up with innovative ways to resolve your challenges.
Moon in Pisces colors: All shades of blue, green or purple; yellow, violet or white: Crystals: Amethyst, aquamarine, turquoise, moonstone or mother of pearl. Incense/Essential oils: Lavender, sage, sandalwood or jasmine.
Monday 11 February 2013 (3 Stars): Aside from an early morning tendency to be overly optimistic (Moon square Jupiter at 12:33 AM), this is isn’t a bad day–aspect wise anyway; our biggest challenge is that we will spend most of this day in void of course la-la-land. Before the void of course hits, I must admit the Moon conjoined with Mars at 1:56 AM is likely to play havoc with sleep, but starting with a lovely conjunction between the Moon and Mercury at 6:00 AM, things start looking up. Plan on doing some early morning communications work to take advantage of the Moon-Mercury conjunction. Some visualization work or affirmations lend a hand in transforming bad habits into more empowering ones when the Moon forms a sextile to Pluto at 7:40 AM. Excellent planning and organizing support arrive in the form of Moon-Saturn trine at 9:03 AM–and then the Moon is void of course until Tuesday evening. Make this a time to clean up, organize and plan rather than launch new projects and you’ll make the most of the rest of this work day.
Mercury sextile Pluto at 9:58 PM is a great assist and planning communications projects such as speeches, presentations or even doing some high powered blog work–enjoy!
Tuesday 12 February 2013 (3 Stars): Not a lot going on in the aspect department and the Moon is void of course all day, so again this isn’t a day to try to take the world by storm. Plan on tackling your top tasks tomorrow when the Moon is in Aries and your personal goals are empowered by the Moon for swift results. Meanwhile Mercury trines Saturn at 11:15 AM giving you the ability to clean up your writing projects and have them ready to roll once we shift Moon signs tomorrow.
The Moon enters Aries at 5:51 PM and it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get busy with projects that are near and dear to our hearts–woo hoo!
Moon in Aries colors: White, red, scarlet, yellow. Crystals: Coral, amethyst, carnelian, bloodstone, or clear quartz. Incense/Essential Oils: Dragon’s blood, cinnamon, frankincense, musk, or myrrh.
Wednesday 13 February 2013 (3 Stars): The Moon conjoins Uranus at 5:05 AM creating opportunities for shocks, surprises and ingenious downloads from the Universe, so have pen and paper at the ready to capture them! If you have been feeling a bit down, the sextile between the Moon and Jupiter at 6:01 AM should offer you a more hopeful perspective. Expect static from the boss or other important personages when the Moon squares Pluto at 1:34 PM; try not to let your inner beast loose on others either! Plan a quiet, romantic evening for two tonight when the Moon forms a sweet sextile to Venus at 9:51 PM. Unfortunately the aspects are more friendly for a Valentines hookup tonight than tomorrow…
Thursday 14 February 2013 (4 Stars): Happy Valentines Day! There are few signs more ardent than Aries, so hopefully the romantics out there will make it a memorable day! Only one aspect, an intuitive sextile between the Moon and Sun at 7:35 PM offers you ideas in your key areas of concern. You’ll have to plan to put them into action later, since the Moon is also void of course after that aspect–which is what I meant when I said Tuesday night might turn out to be the best of the nights for lovers for this week. Do the best you can and try not to get bent out of shape if your plans hit a bump in the road…
Friday 15 February 2013 (5 Stars): Oh happy day, the weekend is in sight and it’s a five star day in Taurus; the Moon enters Taurus at 2:08 AM, so this is a time to balance your check book, analyze your investments and organize yourself or your office (and make time to spend in nature for stress relief). Capture the essence of your intuitive insights from your dreams when the Moon forms a sextile to Neptune at 7:13 AM. A Mars sextile to Pluto at 10:14 AM is great for working up a sweat; plan a late trip to work so that you’ll have plenty of time to work out before heading in to the office or to school. Do what you can to hook up with VIP’s who can help advance your projects when the Moon trines Pluto at 11:20 PM; think in terms of what you can do to support them and currie their favor at this time for a boost in your street cred.
Moon in Taurus colors: Cream, blue, pink, green, yellow or silver. Crystals: agate, jade, malachite, peridot, golden topaz or turquoise. Incense/Essential Oils: Vanilla, violet, patchouli, musk, rose or sage.
Saturday 15 February 2013 (3 Stars): We get off to a bumpy start thanks to a sleep scuttling Moon-Mars sextile at 12:13 AM; melatonin anyone? Anxiety of some sort may also plague our sleep when the Moon opposes Saturn at 12:44 AM, so no kidding about the melatonin, sleep CD’s and a bit of lavender before bed time. Responsibilities may have you up early, weekend not withstanding, as evidenced by a trine between Mars and Saturn at 8:14 AM; make the best of what you have to do and then get on with enjoying your weekend.
A nice chat with a loved one over coffee is favored by a Moon-Mercury sextile at 10:21 PM, but love and money will require careful handling when the Moon squares Venus at 2:48 AM. It may just be best to wait awhile before pushing your personal agenda; things should look much rosier on both the love and money front next Tuesday.
