Astrology Predictions for 23-29 December 2012

Greetings Friends!

Christmas is on the horizon along with a Full Moon this week; the waxing Moon in Taurus starts our week off with a focus on finances, organization and the beauty of nature.  Friday brings the Full Moon, impacting Cancer, Libra, Capricorn and Aries natives (as well as those who have planets early in any of the aforementioned signs).  Expect people to be a bit tense as we move toward the emotion laden Cancer Full Moon and the New Year; do what you can to stave off holiday stress and to cope with the Full Moon energies–exercise, meditation, Reiki, or aromatherapy are all great choices.  And now to the week’s Celestial report!

Sunday 23 December 2012 (1 Star):  The waxing Moon in Taurus gives us a love of luxury, but a Moon-Saturn opposition at 4:13 AM suggests there will be hindrances to our plans for indulgence even if it is the holidays, so go easy on spending for now (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PST).  The Moon trine Pluto at 4:35 offers a blockbuster, habit breaking energy, so you might want to get up early and do some affirmations, law of attraction or other manifesting work.  And that, ladies and gentlemen, is all she wrote for the day!

Moon in Taurus colors:  Cream, blue, spring green, pink, yellow or turquoise.  Crystals:  Jade, peridot, turquoise, lapis lazuli or moss agate.  Incense/Essential Oils:  Honeysuckle, mint, sage or ylang ylang.

Monday 24 December 2012 (4 Stars):  Christmas Eve isn’t a bad day–it’s just not a great day.  We build all day toward a determined and high energy Moon-Mars trine at 9:58 PM and then the Moon is void of course.  All you late shoppers should have the wind at your back; the one potential drawback is dealing with short tempered people who are stressed by their need to shop at the last minute, so shields up Captain!  The Moon hops into Gemini at 11:13 PM in preparation for a local travel and communications oriented Christmas.

Moon in Gemini colors:  Yellow, orange, black, blue, silver, pink or iridescent shades.  Crystasl:  Apophyllite, alexanderite, tiger’s eye, moonstone, agate or moss agate.  Incense/Essential oils:  Dragon’s blood, mastic or mint.

Tuesday 25 December 2012 (2 Stars):  Things may seem a bit weird, or even deceptive so forget about making important decisions when the Moon squares Neptune at 1:04 AM.  Surprises, shocking news or ingenious ideas come a calling when the Moon forms a sextile to Uranus at 8:45 AM–hopefully these are all nice Christmas surprises!  It may seem as if the Gods of good luck, optimism and adventure saved the best till last when the Moon trines Jupiter at 4:18 PM; and then Mars, the planet of aggression, action and courage enters upstart Aquarius at 4:49 PM triggering lots of unusual action and activity–for self, friends and group associations, throughout January 2013.  Lovers, relationships with your children and even creative projects hit major snags when the Sun squares Uranus at 5:32 PM, producing some ugly behavior; try not to be the one exhibiting said ugly behavior.

Wednesday 26 December 2012 (1 Star):  You may need to balance your financial books along with the needs of a significant other when the Moon opposes Venus at 1:09 AM–the watchword is compromise, for now.   You may be able to shift or transform your concerns for the better when Saturn sextiles Pluto at 4:48 PM; though it may not look easy, set some intentions and get moving!  Late night chats or other communication projects stall under the influence of a Moon-Mercury opposition at 10:50 PM.  Maybe compromise will help, but then so would calling it a night and waiting for a better time to iron out misunderstandings.  This is especially true since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect.

Thursday 27 December 2012 (1 Star):  The Moon strolls into its home sign of Cancer at 12:06 PM.  A little later on creatives and mystics get a tremendous boost from a Moon-Neptune trine at 2:04 PM; work on creative projects or meditate to download insights from the Universe to get the biggest bang for your buck.   You or someone you know may feel driven to throw caution to the wind and do some crazy or weird thing when the Moon squares Uranus at 9:34 PM, but it’s best to reign in that freedom urge and avoid putting yourself, or others, in danger.

Friday 28 December 2012 (1 Star):  It’s more like a half a star day since our lone ‘positive aspect’ is to Saturn early in the day; oh well, make do with what you have, right?  The Full Moon arriving at 2:21 AM is likely to disturb our sleep, so it might be good to do some relaxing yoga poses, have some chamomile or valerian tea and or listen to sleep mp3s before heading off to bed Thursday night.

Someone wants to have their way, come what may, when the Moon opposes Pluto at 6:34 AM; if it’s your boss or a VIP you may just have to roll with it, although a compromise is a possibility on points of contention between you.  Get your day or your key projects organized when the Moon trines Saturn at 6:43 AM and take advantage of Saturn’s mean structuring energies. The Moon is then is void of course, so no launching of new projects until the Moon changes signs on Saturday.

Saturday 29 December 2012 (0 Stars) The Moon enters Leo at 11:45 PM, so the entire day is void of course until then.  Rest, meditate and dream up some hot ideas and goals for the coming new New Year!

A New Year and a new you are right around the corner!  If you’d like to take a look at what the stars (or the cards) foresee for you with regard to love, money or career matters in 2013, why not book a private Astrology or Tarot consultation and get the year off to a great new start?  You can book your consultation here!

I will be back to count down the last two days of 2012 and ring in the New Year with next week’s predictions–I hope to see you back here then!

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions for 16-22 December 2012

Greetings Friends!

The holiday season is at full throttle as we start the third week of December 2012 and head into the end of the year.  The waxing Moon in Aquarius switches to dreamy Pisces Monday evening, bringing a calm to the early part of the work week.  But be prepared for the first bump in the road of this lunar cycle come Wednesday thanks to a late in Pisces First Quarter Moon.  We end the week with the return of the Sun also known as the Winter Solstice/Yule (I always wondered what Yule was when I was a kid–it’s the Winter Solstice).  It’s the week before Christmas and Chanukkah is already underway–lots to do, so let’s get busy!

Sunday 16 December 2012 (2 Stars):  This two star day begins with an early morning sextile between the Moon and Mercury at 2:03 AM (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PST); best for insomniacs and college students cramming for tests, most West coast folks will be sound asleep when this one drops.  We will also miss the square between the Moon and Saturn at 3:27 AM, however we may fall prey to sleeplessness due to financial worries or other relationship/business drama.  Remember to take your sleep enhancers (lavender essential oil, sleep mask, sound mp3s and melatonin with you before you turn in Saturday evening.)

Good news, lucky breaks and other signs of good fortune will be in the air when the Moon trines Jupiter at 5:38 AM; just don’t let your good fortune have you counting your eggs before they hatch–as evidenced by the Venus-Neptune square at 10:25 AM.  Best to be conservative in your expectations for now.

Moon in Aquarius colors:  all shades of blue, but especially electric blue, ultramarine, neon/fluorescent shades, pink, silver, or turquoise.  Crystals:  Aquamarine, amethyst, laboradorite, celestite, lapist lazuli or moonstone.  Incense/Essential oils:  Patchouli, lavender, sandalwood or frankincense.

Monday 17 December 2012 (2 Stars):  The Sun sextile to the Sun at 10:11 AM gives rise to creative ideas you’ll want to get moving on in this building up phase of the lunar cycle; make notes to get moving on your hot new ideas at a later time since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until 4:48 PM when it enters Pisces.  The screwy void of course energy is further evidenced by an opposition between Mercury and Jupiter at 11:21 AM; beware of inflated promises from others and try to avoid promising more than you can deliver as well.

Moon in Pisces colors:  All shades of blue, purple or green, as well as white or light yellow.  Crystals:  Amethyst, aquamarine, jade, mother of pearl or coral.  Incense/Essential oils:  Lavender, sage, honeysuckle or jasmine.

Tuesday 18 December 2012 (2 Stars):  The day gets off to an early start with a business like attitude thanks to a Moon-Saturn trine at 7:46 AM; organize messy projects, plan your goals for the day and declutter areas that have long needed your attention.  A bit of affirmation or law of attraction works makes good use of a sextile between the Moon and Pluto at 8:34 AM, but be conservative in your expectations and promises when the Moon forms a square to Jupiter at 9:16 AM–no over doing, or huge expectations of anything/anyone at this time.  There will will be a roadblock regarding communications projects or issues when the Moon squares Mercury at 12:10 PM; take a time out and work on solitary projects if you can’t get your message through at this time.

Wednesday 19 December 2012 (2 Stars):  A breakthrough in love, money or design projects is possible when Venus forms a trine to Uranus at 1:39 PM–woo hoo!  Take a late lunch and go for a walk or spend some time at the gym to make use of a sextile between the Moon and Mars at 2:44 PM (this will also help you deal with that ubiquitous bugaboo, holiday stress).  Where are your plans for this lunar cycle threatening to jump the tracks–that’s what the First Quarter Moon at 9:19 PM asks (Moon square the Sun; 29 degrees of Pisces).  Figure out your new strategy and prepare to get moving on your plans for this cycle at a later date–especially since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until 11:43 PM at which time it will enter the fiery sign of Aries.

Moon in Aries colors:  Red, scarlet, pink, yellow or white.  Crystals:  Bloodstone, carnelian, coral, amethyst, diamond or garnet.  Incense/Essential oils:  Cinnamon, frankincense, myrrh, dragon’s blood or musk.

Thursday 20 December 2012 (3 Stars):  We’ve got a busy day  of aspects beginning with a breakthrough supporting Moon-Uranus conjunction at 8:34 AM; make that phone call, pitch your plan and expect stellar results!  Love and money are humming along nicely when the Moon trines Venus at 10:40 AM and remember you’ll want to look your personal best while the Moon transits self oriented Aries.  Be prepared for some strong arm tactics from the boss or another VIP when the Moon squares Pluto at 4:51 PM; be prepared to give in to their demands, compromise probably won’t be an option.  A ray of sunshine in the form of a Moon-Jupiter sextile at 4:54 PM arrives as we finish the work day; hey if nothing else, the weekend is now looming into view!

Friday 21 December 2012/Winter Solstice (5 Stars):  Yule blessings to all as the Sun enters Capricorn at 3:12 AM; we are officially in the waxing part of the Wheel of the Year and Christmas is just a hop, skip and a jump away!   You may awaken to an early morning call or jump out of bed with lots of ideas you want to get moving on and this is thanks to a trine between the Moon and Mercury at 4:13 AM–just jot down some notes and go back to sleep!  Creatives and mystics get a boost from a Sun-Neptune sextile at 10:49 PM; meditation and creative work of types benefits from this aspect.

Saturday 22 December 2012 (2 Stars):  We’re back to the ho-hum two star thing and begin our weekend with a sleep disrupting Moon-Mars square at 4:57 AM; could be harsh words from some quarter are disrupting our sleep.  The Moon is void of course until 10:25 AM at which point it enters Taurus.  Work on creative projects or plan some meditation to benefit from the sextile between the Moon and Neptune at 12:07 PM.  You’ll want to have pen and paper ready to hand to jot down inspiring notes when the Moon trines the Sun at 1:19 PM, but don’t allow holiday traditions to cause you to overspend when Venus opposes Jupiter at 7:50 PM.  If funds are tight, bake some cookies or do some craftwork to show those you love how much you care.

And that’s going to do it for this week.  Just one more full week left in 2012 and if you think you’d like to take a peek at what 2012 has in store for you, schedule your private Astrology or Tarot consultation with me here.   I will see you here next week–don’t forget to share this information with any of your friends or family who might find it useful.

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions for 18-24 November 2012

Greetings Friends!

Can you believe it’s time for Thanksgiving already?!  You know what that means, Christmas is right around the corner with the New Year close behind.  So, let’s not waste time, you’re going to be busy with a First Quarter Moon, decorating and Black Friday shopping; here’s everything you’re going to need to know for Thanksgiving week!

Sunday 18 November 2012 (1 Star):  The waxing Moon enters Aquarius at 4:10 AM PST (all times indicated in this blog are PST), so technology, interesting downloads, friends and group associations are up to bat as we begin the week.  The Aquarian vibe is enhanced by a Moon-Uranus sextile at 12:29 PM; if you’re looking for inventive or clever ideas this aspect should work well for you.  You may feel a bit under siege due to business/estate demands or the concerns of intimate partners when the Moon squares Saturn at 1:10 PM–this energy could cast a pall over the day, so get in a bit of exercise to raise your vibes and your energy and combat any depression this aspect might bring on.

Moon in Aquarius colors:  Electric blue, silver, turquoise, hot pink, white; all neon/fluorescent shades.  Crystals:  Labradorite, amethyst, aquamarine, opal or clear quartz.  Incense/Essential Oils:  Patchouli, lavender, mint or sandalwood.

Monday 19 November 2012 (1 Star):  Good fortune arrives along with a healthy dose of optimism when the Moon trines Jupiter at 2:47 AM; that’s a good thing because you may have blocked/difficult communications when the Moon forms a square to Mercury at 7:22 PM.  Remember that we’re all making our way through another Mercury retrograde so if there is an error in communications or difficulty in communicating with others, now is not a particularly easy time to have our needs met or our communications heard with clarity.  Patience and meditation make this first work day of the week go a bit more smoothly.

Tuesday 20 November 2012 (4 Stars):  Things get a lot better today, though we do have a First Quarter Moon to deal with as we begin our day.  We start  with a Moon-Venus trine at 5:35 AM and humanity is feeling the love–for a hot minute.  Things bog down when the Moon squares the Sun at 6:31 AM (First Quarter Moon-28 degrees of Aquarius); check your plans for this cycle as they may require tweaking at this time.  The Moon is also void of course after that last aspect until 8:55 AM when it enters Pisces.

You’ll have plenty of inspiration for both spiritual and creative projects when the Moon conjoins Neptune at 9:38 AM and you might want to schedule time in the afternoon for a run or a trip to the gym when the Moon forms a sextile to Mars at 2:11 PM.  Organizational planning, clean up and long term projects get a boost when the Moon trines Saturn at 7:01 PM.   Later you may want to make time for a get together with a special someone when the Moon forms a sextile to Pluto at 11:31 PM.

Moon in Pisces colors:  Shades of blue, green, purple, white or light yellow.  Crystals:  Amethyst, moonstone, aquamarine or bloodstone.  Incense/Essential oils:  lavender, honeysuckle or sage.

Wednesday 21 November 2012 (1 Star):  Don’t let over optimism con you into overspending when the Moon squares Jupiter at 8:34 AM.  You will be wanting to think/act in big ways now that the Sun is in Sagittarius (1:50 PM)–Happy Birthday to all the Sag folks out there; legal concerns, religious/spiritual matters and dealings with people at a distance will be in the spotlight for the next 30 days.  Venus enters Scorpio at 5:20 PM, so don’t be surprised if old lovers come to call–especially since Mercury is retrograde in Scorpio at this time; steamy windows indeed!

Our opportunities to sort out communication projects improve when the Moon forms a trine to Mercury at 10:32 PM; planning and writing projects benefit from this aspect if you finish them by 10:32 PM.  Why the worry?  Well, first, the Moon is void of course after that last aspect and second, our thinking gets a bit ungrounded thanks to a Sun-Neptune square at 11:13 PM; someone may be trying to pull the wool over your eyes with regard to love or creative projects, so avoid making decisions or agreements at this time.  The Moon will not enter Aries until 5:12 PM Thursday.  That’s right, most of Thanksgiving Day will be spent in void of course la-la land, so check and recheck your plans, ingredients, etc., as foggy thinking could set your plans at naught.

Thursday 22 November 2012 (5 Stars):  Love and inspiration combine for a fabulous early morning get together when Venus forms a trine to Neptune at 1:00 AM.  Reminder:  the Moon enters Aries at 5:12 PM and our focus shifts to personal goals and concerns at this time.  Make plans to put intuitive insights into action when the Moon forms a trine to the Sun at 7:37 PM; those celebrating Thanksgiving should enjoy a very good time with friends and family!

Friday 23 November 2012 (2 Stars):  Mars square Uranus at 2:06 AM suggests some boisterous partying into the night–and insomnia challenges as a result (melatonin anyone?).  The frivolity continues when the Moon conjoins Uranus at 2:27 AM; amazing insights, creativity downloads and just plain wild fun are likely into the wee hours thanks to this aspect, although the Moon-Mars square at 2:29 AM may indicate early morning riotous behavior is going to be met with a bit of a challenge or force–it could even backfire causing unwanted interactions with law enforcement.  You might want to call it an early night and avoid unnecessary challenges.

An early morning square between the Moon and Pluto at 8:47 AM advises caution in your dealings with others; you never know if you’re dealing with someone with anger management issues, so keep a low profile, no flipping anyone the bird during taxing Black Friday shopping challenges and be prepared for displays of temper or willfullness from VIP’s, bosses or other cantankerous types.  You can score a great deal if you do decide to take a chance on a bit of holiday shopping when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 5:34 PM–but keep your spending to a prudent level since the Moon is void of course after that last aspect.  The Moon enters Taurus at 4:18 AM Sunday morning (25 November 2012).  Yes, Saturday will be spent in void of course la, la land as well this week.

Colors for Moon in Aries:  Red, scarlet, yellow, pink or white.  Crystals:  Amethyst, bloodstone, coral, garnet or red jasper.  Incense/Essential Oils:  cinnamon, Dragon’s Blood, frankincense, jasmine, myrrh or sandalwood.

Saturday 24 November 2012 (1 Stars):  We’ve only one aspect all day, a sextile between Mars and Saturn at 2:53 PM–which is a bit like driving with one foot on the gas and the other on the brake.  An apt description since we have a void of course Moon all day as well.  Best to spend this day resting, cleaning up or in quiet meditation; wait to launch new endeavors until Sunday morning after the Moon has switched signs.

Astrology Predictions for 11-17 November 2012

Greetings Friends!

We’re on the cusp of a new lunar cycle–our current cycle is one for the record books with terrible storms, a difficult American Presidential campaign and election as well as lots of stories involving difficulties and loss in the news.  We can chalk a lot of the losses up to the current transit of Saturn in Scorpio–so all of the fixed sign natives out there, (Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus and Leo), stay on top of health, employment and business issues to keep your challenges to a minimum.

The November New Moon packs a wallop thanks to a Solar Eclipse–this energy is so powerful it will be with us until May of 2013.  If you have planets near 22 degrees of Scorpio, Aquarius, Taurus or Leo–you can expect new beginnings in desires of the heart, money, friendships, groups associations and your creative projects or children.

This week we’ll have a much better time energetically–more high vibe days, but with Mercury retrograde you’ll want to continue to be vigilant and double check your facts and appointment times.  And with that, let’s take a look at the week ahead!

Sunday 11 November 2012 (5 Stars):  This is our first five star day in quite awhile!  We begin with a heart opening, optimistic trine between the waning Libra Moon and  Jupiter at 1:13 AM (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PST); storm clouds are moving off and our sense of joy returns along with a healthy dose of good luck!  Love and money are in a great space as well as the Moon trines Venus at 6:13 AM–you might want to make it a day devoted to your beauty rituals or for carving out some high quality time with someone you care about.  A late trip to the gym or some heavy lifting is in order when the Moon forms a sextile to Mars at 9:13 PM; just don’t work yourself up so much that you have trouble sleeping!  The Moon becomes void of course after that last aspect and we’re also in a dark of the Moon phase now; best to lay low, take it easy and postpone new launches (if you choose to do so during a Mercury retrograde) until after the New Moon on Tuesday afternoon.

Monday 12 November 2012 (5 Stars):  The Moon enters Scorpio at 3:10 AM before forming a trine to mystical, magical Neptune at 3:45 AM; keep your pen and paper near to hand to capture dream insights and prophecies; creative projects, meditation, dance, music, art and photographic work all benefit from this aspect as well.  You may find you have a lot of work to do thanks to the monthly Moon-Saturn conjunction at 10:28 AM; some of this may have to do with settling an estate, dealing with business or tax issues or even taking care of the issue of your own end of life care (or someone near and dear to you)–all ruled by Moon in Scorpio, of course.  You can get a boost in your behavior modification work via law of attraction, visualization or affirmative work when the Moon forms a sextile to Pluto at 3:34 PM; resolving mysteries also prospers under the energy of this Moon-Pluto aspect.

Moon in Scorpio colors:  Black, dark brown, dark gray, dark red, maroon or orange.   Crystals:  Jet, obsidian, citrine, amethyst or charoite.  Incense/Essential oils:  Patchouli, myrrh, violet or vanilla.

Tuesday 13 November 2012 (1 Star):  Energetically we get off to a late start beginning with the New Moon arriving at 2:08 PM (at 22 degrees of Scorpio); our focus for the next 30 days will be on issues of transformation, mysticism, secrets and intimate partners–to name just a few Scorpionic issues.  Fuzzy, wuzzy thinking is the order of the day though, thanks to a square between Mercury and Neptune at 4:02 PM.  Put off agreements of any kind until you can think clearly–which won’t be anytime soon.  Mercury returns to Scorpio via retrograde motion at 11:43 PM.

Wednesday 14 November 2012 (2 Stars):  The day may begin with a churning, over active mind as the Moon conjoins Mercury at 2:39 AM; since the Moon is in Scorpio this may also mean spiritual messages or intuitive insights and very deep thinking.  The Moon enters a very short void of course period after that last aspect and then enters Sagittarius at 2:52 AM.  More fuzzy thinking and some possibly deceptive information may be given to you regarding an important matter thanks to a square between the Moon and Neptune at 3:27 AM; you will want to continue to refrain from making any firm decisions until your thinking clears and or more reliable information makes its way to you.   A clever, shocking and ingenious vibe arrives when the Moon forms a trine to Uranus at 10:42 AM; if you’re looking for a breakthrough or break out idea on a key project–this is an ideal time to brainstorm ideas.

Moon in Sagittarius colors:  Purple, mauve, gold, green, red, black or indigo.  Crystals:  lapis lazuli, sugilite, amethyst, malachite, sodalite or turquoise.  Incense/Essential oils:  Sage, dragon’s blood, frankincense or copal.

Thursday 15 November 2012 (1 Star):  Over optimism may lead you to promise too much, or even spend too much–especially with the Moon transiting through Sagittarius; reign in your expectations and actions when the Moon opposes Jupiter at 12:25 AM.  You’ll have pretty good feed back on the love and money fronts later in the day when the Moon forms a sextile to Venus at 2:29 PM.

Friday 16 November 2012 (4 Stars):  The Moon conjoins Mars at 1:44 AM making it a rough night for insomniacs; those who are up and about may want to indulge in some yoga or other light physical activity to benefit from Mars’ action oriented nature.  Note the Moon is void of course after that last aspect, but enters Capricorn at 2:35 AM.  You may get a bit of help in the sleep department when the Moon forms a sextile with Neptune at 3:11 AM; bring along some melatonin and sleep CD’s before you come to bed and win all arguments in the sleep department.  Be prepared to deal with wild and crazy behavior, shocking news or unwanted surprises when the Moon squares Uranus at 10:32 AM; you might not be able to resist squelching rude behavior though since that last aspect is quickly followed by a Moon-Saturn sextile at 10:42 AM; rude or weird behavior is unlikely to be tolerated for long.  Take a few moments to visualize an important goal, say some affirmations or do a bit of law of attraction work when the Moon conjoins Pluto at 3:18 PM.  Action oriented Mars will have his wings clipped a bit when he enters Capricorn at 6:36 PM; expect to be busier than usual with career/success related tasks now till 25 December 2012.

Saturday 17 November 2012 (4 Stars):  An early morning dance class or some other creative physical activity best suits the early morning Mars-Neptune sextile that occurs at 6:23 AM (though you may find yourself experiencing something more like nightmares if you’re asleep at this hour).  Your creative/communications projects get a big boost from the conjunction between the Sun and Mercury at 7:47 AM.  You’ll have additional opportunities to work on important communications when the Moon and Mercury sextile one another at 7:46 PM.  Pay attention to some developing challenges in the love and money department as the Moon squares Venus at 8:03 PM; do what you can to eliminate them–fortunately intuitive ideas that may prove helpful arrive when the Moon forms a sextile to the Sun at 9:54 PM.  Plan to boot up these new plans to unsnarl love/money issues as soon as possible.

Sign up for the LAGirl13 Astrology Newsletter or book your own Astrological/Tarot consultation here; we’re closing in on the end of year and now is a perfect time to get some insights on your goals and plans for the new year!

Astrology Predictions for 4-10 November 2012

Greetings Friends!

Well, that was a nasty Taurus Full Moon, let me tell you!  I have five celestial bodies in fixed signed (Mars/Taurus–Full Moon hit this one dead on btw, Sun-Uranus/Leo, Neptune/Scorpio and Moon/Aquarius)–so it was no picnic.  The Atlantic super storm Sandy rolled in on the Full Moon tide energy and it was really a catastrophic event–USA worst, as I understand it.  So what lies ahead this week?  The energies are in a waning phase, though it might not feel like it, with the Moon void of course as we begin a new week (and if you’re in the USA remember to turn your clocks back).

Mercury begins a new retrograde (currently at four degrees of Sagittarius) all the way back to 18 degrees of Scorpio; this isn’t the best news for the American elections as Mercury begins its retrograde motion on election day suggesting screwy information/communications.  Just a note about Mercury retrograde; this journey makes our thinking more inwardly focused–we’re more right brained and intuitive–especially once Mercury re-enters Scorpio (14 November 2012).  This is a time of rethinking things, reviewing things with a mind toward making changes later with regards to our intimate ties, dealings with people at a distance, estate concerns and even college studies.  With that in mind take your planner with you everywhere, check and re-check dates and times–remember you’re not the only one who is functioning with less left brained energy these days.  Move more slowly, really think before you act–and back up your computer!

In addition, we’ve got a Last Quarter Moon Tuesday, so this is an energetically challenging week too–at least for the first several days.  Let’s take a closer look at what the week holds (oh, and all of the times listed in this blog are now PST).

Sunday 4 November 2012 (1 Star):  The week begins with an intuitively helpful trine between the Moon in Cancer and the Sun in Scorpio at 1:37 AM–and then the Moon is void of course until Monday.  Spending the entire day in the void zone makes it a good day for cleaning up, doing some self-care work and resting.  Just remember to avoid beginning new projects, until the Moon switches signs to Leo on Monday.

Monday 5 November 2012 (2 Stars):  The Moon enters Leo at 11:39 AM and we finally get out of void of course prison!  The first aspect of the day is a stodgy Moon-Saturn square at 6:58 PM, so we’re building all day to this restrictive, pain in the butt energy.  You probably won’t have a lot of choices; where ever the problem(s) may be, your only choice is probably to meet the demand and it will be difficult/unpleasant.  Saturn in Scorpio has morphed into a transformative and stubborn taskmaster (as if he was a sweet heart before–not).  These new energy lessons are intended to make us stronger (but they are also strong–read nasty, medicine); so you’re probably going to need to beef up your self-care routines to cope with the new restrictions and challenges.

On a more pleasant note, your communications work should flow nicely when the Moon trines Mercury at 7:57 PM, plus you’ll have some surprising, out of this world downloads to look forward to when the Moon trines ingenious Uranus at 9:44 PM.  If you need a breakthrough in some area of life, pay attention to the ideas that drop in during the Moon-Uranus aspect.

Moon in Leo colors:  gold, red, orange, yellow, blood red or green.  Crystals/Metals:  gold, diamond, tiger’s eye, rose quartz, or peridot.  Incense/Essential oils:  cinnamon, frankincense, musk, myrrh or sandalwood.

Tuesday 6 November 2012 (2 Stars):  Again with the low energy vibes, so I hope you’re making time for exercise, yoga, meditation and lots of rest.  The Moon sextile Venus at 9:14 AM shines some sweet light on love and money matters for a change while Mercury begins his retrograde at 3:04 PM.  You’ll feel optimistic and perhaps even lucky when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 3:45 PM.  The Last Quarter Moon (Moon square the Sun at 15 degrees of Leo) arrives at 4:36 PM and we can review where our goals have culminated for the current lunar cycle as well as those that have gone awry.  We will have a New Moon next week and may begin to iron out our challenges at that time–bearing in mind that with a Mercury retrograde we should forestall new endeavors until the middle of December.

Wednesday 7 November 2012 (1 Star):  Despite the low vibes, we’re up and at ’em early thanks to a trine between the Moon and Mars at 7:27 AM, but we’re void of course again after that until 8:35 PM when the Moon finally limps into Virgo.  Best to make this a clean up and organizing day rather than launching some keen new endeavor (Mercury is now retrograde; no moving about the cabin).  An opposition between the Moon and Neptune at 9:15 PM leads to muddled thinking and deceptive information from others; best to put off decisions until we’re clear headed and incoming messages are clear and reliable.

Moon in Virgo colors:  black, blue, tan, brown, gold, gray or green.  Crystals:  jade, peridot, agate, moss agate, or carnelian.  Incense/Essential oils:  patchouli, lavender or sandalwood.

Thursday 8 November 2012 (1 Star):  The prize for record number of low star days during a one week period has to go to this week!  An overly optimistic attitude is likely thanks to a Moon-Jupiter opposition at 12:25 AM; lock up the credit cards and avoid making promises you probably won’t be able to keep.  Love and money are chugging along fairly nicely when the Moon forms a sextile to Venus at 2:29 PM–so, you might want to take your sweet heart for a movie or dinner date (or drop by your favorite salon for some pampering)!

Friday 9 November 2012 (1 Star):  We benefit from a sextile between the Moon and Sun at 3:57 AM; intuitive insights should be captured with a plan for action at a later time.  The rest of the day is spent dealing with frustrations and temperamental folks thanks to a square between the Moon and Mars at 4:27 PM–the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until Saturday morning.  All together we have a number of indicators that really suggest this is a week for introspection, for cleaning up and organizing ourselves–not for major pushes.  We will have a New Moon next week, but for now the energy is becoming lower and lower; take time out to rest and restore.  Those of you who simply cannot wait to launch a project would probably do best to wait for Tuesday’s New Moon/Solar Eclipse (I’ll have more about that next week).

Saturday 10 November 2012 (1 Star):  The Moon enters Libra at 1:35 AM, but unfortunately, we have yet another low vibrational day–self-care to the rescue!  Our mental faculties are percolating as well as can be expected during a Mercury retrograde, so now might be the time to cash in on a Moon-Mercury sextile at 7:06 AM to write, edit and recheck our communications and plans.  Some wild and wooly energy creates surprises, disruptions and shocks thanks to an opposition between the Moon and Uranus at 10:08 AM.  Bosses, VIP’s and menacing types take the upper hand courtesy of a square between the Moon and Pluto at 2:33 PM; best to make yourself scarce when this aspect arrives.  And great news for the Pisceans among you–Neptune, your Sun sign ruler stations direct and will slowly begin forward motion at 11:53 PM.  You may remember Neptune became retrograde 5 June 2012–so we have one more planet giving us a green light!  Projects involving spirituality, art, dance, film, music, photography–and even a secret or two will have more room to run in the next few days–but especially once Mercury stops doing backflips!

And that’s it for this week–wishing you a safe and peaceful journey till next time.

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions for Sunday 28 October thru 3 November 2012

Greetings Friends!

Well, here we go, the first full week of predictions and it seems only right that it would be the Taurus/Scorpio Full Moon week.  I’ll be looking for feedback on how you like this new format and what you like or don’t like about the changes, but enough of that, let’s get to the details.  And, of course, the times indicated in this blog are PDT.

Sunday 28 October 2012 the waxing Moon enters Taurus at 11:15 PM on a zero star day.  We begin with a potentially volatile Mars opposition to Jupiter at 5:56 AM, so it might be a good idea to keep a low profile in the early hours of the day.  Venus, the ruler of Taurus and Libra, enters Libra at 6:04 AM–which stars a nice window of opportunity for meeting new romantic interests–keep in mind the upcoming Mercury retrograde and don’t nail yourself to the floor with anyone–old or new, until mid-December of this year (Note:  a retrograde Mercury often brings people or issues from the past circling round again; just sayin’).  Not to be outdone, Mercury enters Sagittarius at 11:18 PM; communications from people at a distance, long distance travel for yourself/others, college studies and legal situations are possible communication topics until Mercury begins its retrograde madness 6 November 2012 and returns to Scorpio for another round of intense thoughts and communications (also the day of the Presidential elections in the USA; this should be interesting).

Colors:  Spring green, blue, pink, turquoise, or yellow.  Crystals:  jade, peridot, chrysoprase, coral, red coral, or turquoise.  Incense/Essential oils:  vanilla, rose, violet or patchouli.

Monday 29 October 2012 the Moon sextile Neptune at 12:04 AM can bring precognitive dreams or creative ideas into your dreams so keep a pad of paper and a pen near the bed to capture these bits of information before they slip away (and it’s a two star day).  The needs of others may feel restrictive when the Moon opposes Saturn at 4:55 AM, but on a Full Moon day compromise is always your best option.  Never the less, due to the early morning timing of this aspect, you may find it best to be up early to attend to the day’s requirements.  Strange stories that make absolutely no sense, muddled thinking or other unusual issues plague humanity when Mercury squares Neptune at 10:41 AM; best not to make any promises or sign agreements at this time.  The Full Moon clocks in at 12:49 PM (at 6 degrees of Taurus) and something may come to light about something or someone we value–be it love, money or some other valued situation, person or thing.  We can visualize, affirm and otherwise intend our future good to powerful effect when the Moon trines Pluto, ruler of Scorpio at 2:01 PM.  The Moon is void of course until almost lunch time Wednesday after that last aspect, so don’t launch any important initiatives until then.

Tuesday 30 October 2012 offers one lonely aspect all day, a sextile between the Sun and Pluto at 3:28 AM; you may have powerful creative plans waiting to be birthed–remember to wait until the Moon enters Gemini on Wednesday.  Let’s call it a three star day, due to the lack of aspects and the long void of course period.

Wednesday 31 October 2012 the Moon finally flits into Gemini at 11:40 AM and it somehow seems appropriate that the Moon gets into a square with ghostly Neptune at 12:28 PM on this day–definitely a sign that things are not what they appear to be (this is also a two star day folks).  Someone may be less than honest with you now and your emotions aren’t necessarily clear about things, so don’t sign any agreements and make no promises for now.  You’ll get news you could probably live without when the Moon opposes Mercuryy at 3:55 PM, but compromise with others is a possibility.  Make plans to have some fun with a loved one when the Moon trines Venus at 8:33 PM–nothing like a sexy outfit and a Halloween romp when Venus and the Moon are singing a sweet tune.  You may stir up some sparks while you’re at it; the Moon forms a sextile to Uranus at 10:30 PM; let your hair down and have fun!  Happy Halloween/Samhain!

Colors:  Yellow, orange, orange, pink, black or blue.  Crystals:  agate, moss agate, apophyllite, emerald or moonstone.  Incense/Essential oils:  mint, lavender or dragon’s blood.

Thursday 1 November 2012 is a three star day and we welcome a new month with unsettling energy when Venus opposes Uranus at 3:06 PM, opposites attract–the question is it someone or something we want?   This aspect could mean love or money issues may be popping up in unsettling or surprising ways (always fun); but the Moon conjoins Jupiter at 6:18 PM suggesting that a blanket of good fortune will be spread over the problems, so alls well that ends well.

Friday 2 November 2012 bring the melatonin and lavender oil to bed to combat the restless energy of a the Moon opposing Mars at 2:21 AM, can you tell it’s a zero star day?  The Moon is void of course after that aspect, so we spend the rest of the day in void of course la-la land.

Saturday 3 November 2012 the Moon enters Cancer at 12:43 AM and thoughts of home, family and security predominate for the next day or two, oh and it’s a two star day; sweet dreams, even precognitive dreams arrive thanks to a Moon-Neptune trine at 1:30 AM; you’ve got your pen and paper at the ready, right?  Get your home office or other messy areas under control and plan key projects when the Moon trines Saturn at 7:43 AM.  Manipulation in love or money matters will be anything but subtle when Venus squares Pluto at 10:26 AM; compromise is unlikely, neutral corners may be best for awhile.  Shocks, surprises, wild or inappropriate behavior abounds when shock meister Uranus gets into a square with the Moon at 11:20 AM; the Moon in Cancer may make some people more emotional than usual–so be warned.

Bosses or VIP’s throw their weight around a bit when the Moon opposes Pluto at 3:54 PM; diplomacy and compromise are your best bets on this challenging energy day.  It’s an unhappy love or money day to boot; the Moon squares Venus at 4:31 PM.

Colors:  blue, green, gray green, sea green, white or silver.  Crystals:  Clear or rose quartz, moonstone, pearls, opal or tiger’s eye crystals.  Incense/Essential oils:  jasmine, rose, sandalwood or violet.

Astrology Predictions for Friday and Saturday (26-27 October 2012)

Greetings Friends!

We’re ready to finish the last of the work week as we begin Friday.  The Moon switches into Aries at 12:31 PM, so it’s going to be a red hot weekend with a Full Moon on deck for Monday!  Friday and Saturday are both two star days; try to increase your self-care practices in preparation for the rising emotional tide of the Taurus-Scorpio Full Moon Monday afternoon.

Fiery Aries is the first sign of the zodiac and your energy should be shifting to whatever personal concerns are up to bat for you now.  Aries, Leo and Sagittarius natives get the best benefit from this transit, but wearing your bright red, pink, yellow, white or scarlet clothing and accessories will help you join the show.  Coral, amethyst, bloodstone, carnelian,  or red jasper crystals along with cinnamon, copal, dragon’s blood, frankincense or myrrh essential oils and incense will add fire to your energy field and a little heat to a romantic rendezvous as well.

Friday 26 October 2012 it’s best to knock your communications projects out early in the AM and take advantage of the brilliant Moon-Mercury trine at 7:44 AM.  Be prepared for some turbulence on the Love Boat–and there may be some challenge with your finances as well when the Moon opposes Venus at 8:04 AM; expect things to take awhile to sort themselves out in these two departments since we have the Full Moon in Venus ruled Taurus on Monday…also it probably doesn’t help that the Moon is void of course after that last aspect.  Luckily the Moon enters Aries at 12:31 PM.  You may be able to conjure up some wickedly smart solutions though when the Moon conjoins Uranus at 11:06 PM.  Kick off your shoes and have some wild fun with friends or enjoy tech toys, as well as the freedom and creativity of this Uranian aspect.

Saturday 27 October 2012 begins with challenges from a VIP or boss weighing on us in the early hours of the morning as the Moon squares Pluto at 2:42 AM (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT); since Pluto can be a dangerous character, I’d avoid partying into the wee hours of Saturday morning so as not to cross paths with someone looking for trouble–lest they find you!  If you have any chores that require courage, strength, determination or high energy then take advantage of the Moon-Mars trine at 5:44 PM.  Good luck and optimism offer humanity a bit of a boost when the Moon forms a sextile to Jupiter at 6:32 PM.

Okay, it’s nearly time for the big switch!  Be on the lookout for the first weekly post from LAGirl13, this Saturday evening–all the information you need to plan your entire week (28-October thru 3 November 2012).  And if you haven’t signed up for our bi-monthly report, now is the time; sign up here (the November newsletter goes out 1 November 2012).

Does it seem as though life is a bit more intense of late?  Why not schedule your Astrology or Tarot consultation here and stay in the know for the situations (love, money and career) that matter most to you.

And that’s a wrap, I will see you Saturday evening with the weekly forecast, including all the details for Monday’s Full Moon.  See you then!

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions for Friday thru Sunday (12-14 October 2012)

Greetings Friends!

Welcome to the end of the week!  If you’re a regular reader of this blog you have doubtless wondered what the heck is going on–due to the strange posting schedule of late.  Well, I’ve been experiencing my own personal Mercury retrograde and only recently figured out why.  If you were born in the late 1950’2 or 1960’s your Neptune placement is in Scorpio–the sign Mercury is currently transiting through.  In addition, Neptune (the planet dishing out the la la land thinking) is itself currently transiting through Pisces–which is a complimentary angle (trine) to Scorpio, since both of these signs (Scorpio/Pisces) are water signs.  The bottom line is that your thinking is likely to be deep, dreamy, and very intuitive–and not grounded at all.  Check and recheck your work for errors and be sure to capture insights as these are likely to be deep and literally out of this world.  Mercury doesn’t leave Scorpio until 28 October 2012–and we will be in a retrograde shadow by then.  Life is likely to be really going to be a bit weird this month (and the Mercury retrograde is in Scorpio folks).

Okay, so Friday the Moon in Virgo keeps your nose to the work/health grind stone with a three star day and a lengthy void of course period that begins at 4:48 PM.  The Moon doesn’t switch into Libra until 4:02 PM Saturday and there are no exact aspects all day–so you’ll need to bring your cheeriest self to the day via meditation, exercise and other uplifting energy work.  Sunday is a two star day–so again with the self-care practices to maintain the chill attitude you need to get through a somewhat weird and wired day.  Keep in mind you may feel unusually tired thanks to the aspects and the dark of the Moon lunar phase we’re in now, so pencil in extra rest as needed for your personal needs.

Karmic balance, calm, beauty, self-image, and romance are all in focus during a Moon in Libra transit.  Black, royal/cerulean blue, pink, rose or pastel shades help you to get in the Libran groove while fire agate, agate, aquamarine, opal or rose quartz crystals can give you additional alignment with the weekend energy.  Rose, violet, vanilla, or lemon verbena incense and essential oils help your emotional balance and are a nice boost for a romantic rendezvous.

Friday 12 October 2012 begins with a power Pluto trine at 12:56 AM; this is a great aspect for visualization, affirmation or Law of Attraction work–or a midnight rendezvous (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  Communication projects get some extra jet fuel thanks to a Moon-Mercury sextile at 6:23 AM followed by a lovely conjunction by the Moon and Venus at 7:06 AM; you’ll be looking your best and money matters look pretty good now.  Try to avoid over doing it when the Moon squares Jupiter at 4:48 PM–no promising things you can’t fulfill or over spending please.

Saturday 13 October 2012 as I mentioned earlier, there are no aspects today.  Take care of your vibration with self-care modalities (meditation, yoga, chakra balancing via Reiki, etc.) in order to maintain a high vibration during the day.  As a side note, don’t overdo the caffeine in the afternoon hours and I’ll tell you why next.

Sunday 14 October 2012 a sleep disrupting sextile between the Moon and Mars occurs at 12:31 AM, so get out your sleep aids and come prepared to deal with noise or disruptive factors before turning in for the night.  Hopefully you didn’t overindulge in caffeine in the afternoon as that may be the insomnia inducing culprit.  A Moon-Uranus opposition at 1:55 AM adds gasoline to the insomnia fire.  If you can’t sleep you might just want to get out of bed and do some work on key creative assignments–Uranus can lend a hand there.  Hopefully you’re at home, snug in bed when the Moon squares Pluto at 3:52 AM; Pluto is the ruler of Scorpio and you don’t want to run afoul of someone in the wee hours of the morning–it could be dangerous.  Avoid late night partying and hanging out with people known for fits of ill temper–in other words make safe choices for self early Sunday morning.  A gloriously lucky trine between the Moon and Jupiter occurs at 6:44 PM–do what you can to curry favor or bring a spotlight to work projects important to your future.

I’ll be sending out the details this weekend to Monday’s New Moon in the latest edition of the LAGirl13 newsletter, so don’t miss out, sign up here.  Working on an important project or did you meet someone new and want to know if they are ‘the one’?  Book your private Astrology or Tarot consultation here.

Join me here Monday morning and I’ll help you ease back into the work week with all the latest astrological news for Monday and Tuesday; take care and till next time…

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions for Wednesday thru Thursday (10-11 October 2012)

Greetings Friends

The waning Leo Moon transit we’ve enjoyed the last 24 hours or so will be replaced Thursday afternoon by a practical and detail oriented waning Moon in Virgo.  Dependent care, holistic health and work issues take center stage–especially with Venus transiting through Virgo insisting things not only fulfill practical purposes, but supply a touch of beauty as well.  Wednesday is a five star day and Thursday a one star day–so carve out some self-care time before work or school Thursday morning to keep your energy high and positive.

Prudent, analytical, adaptable, yet fond of craftsmanship and finely detailed work, a Virgo Moon transit gives earth sign natives (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) the lion’s share of energetic benefits.  Wear shades of blue, brown, black, tan or green to get in sync with the nature loving energy of Virgo.  Go the extra mile and add agate, moss agate, amethyst, carnelian, peridot or fluorite crystals as well as some lavender, mint, patchouli or sandalwood incense/essential oils and you’ll be aligned with the earthy energy of this Virgo Moon transit.

Wednesday 10 October 2012 gets off to an empowering start when Mercury forms a sextile to Pluto at 12:31 AM; get in a bit of visualization or affirmation work and let this aspect boost your work with ease (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  Good fortune and optimism flow from a Moon-Jupiter sextile at 11:36 AM and you can add to your good fortune by making note of intuitive tips from the Universe when the Moon sextiles the Sun at 2:40 PM.  The Moon is void of course after that aspect until 12:23 PM Thursday, so plan on putting wheels under your plans at a later date.  Bring lofty or inspired goals down to earth with great planning and organizational skill thanks to the trine between Saturn and Neptune at 7:42 PM–something beautiful wants to come into being thanks to this aspect, just remember to plan and not to start anything new under the void of course Moon!

Thursday 11 October 2012 the Moon enters Virgo at 12:23 PM and shortly after begins a period of hazy thinking and emotional states thanks to an opposition between the Moon and Neptune at 1:29 PM; postpone important decision making at this time.  Organize, plan and de-clutter when the Moon forms a sextile to Saturn at 1:39 PM, but keep sharp remarks to a minimum when the Moon squares Mars at 6:36 PM.  Other people are likely to be angry or frustrated at this time too–try not to join the party.

The New Moon arrives next week as well as the opening of a new Mercury retrograde shadow; sign up here for the LAGirl13 Astrology newsletter and get all the details early!  And if your relationship, money or career concerns could use a bit of intuitive insight, book your private Astrology or Tarot reading here.

Next up to bat is the Friday and weekend report!  I’ll have all the astrological news for your weekend fun–so join me here bright and early Friday morning!  Until then…

Rich Blessings!

Astrology Predictions Monday thru Tuesday (8-9 October 2012)

Greetings Friends!

Despite the waning Moon in home loving Cancer, it’s time to get back to school and work.  The Moon will switch its tune to Leo Tuesday night bringing a sunny energy to our mid-week work agenda, but for now we may be a bit emotional as we slide into the last few days of this lunar cycle.  Monday is a three star day and Tuesday a one star day.  With the dark of the Moon phase beginning Thursday evening, our energy may feel a bit low, so try to plan as much self-care as you can as you move through this work week with effortless ease.

Flirtatious, determined, proud and passionate, the Moon transiting through Leo favors all fire sign natives (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius).  Join the fun by wearing your favorite gold, green, red, orange or yellow togs and then add a few tiger’s eye, peridot, bloodstone, topaz or rose quart crystals to enliven your energy.  You can boost your energy further with sandalwood, frankincense, amber or myrrh essential oils or incense for personal benefit or to spice up a romantic rendezvous!

Monday 10 October 2012 an annoying and potentially sleep interrupting square between the Moon and Uranus at 12:17 AM implies you prepare for bed with the regular suspects:  melatonin, lavender essential oil, and a sleep mp3 or two along with the hope that the baby sleeps soundly and or the neighbors keep it down (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PDT).  Your written and spoken creativity abounds thanks to the Sun conjoining Mercury at 5:44 AM; why not begin the day with a brainstorm session for your key projects?  Once done with your masterfully creative list, head to the gym and take advantage of the trine between the Moon and Mars at 9:05 AM before you scoot off to school or to work.  Lastly, finish the day capturing some additional intuitive tidbits when the Moon forms a sextile to the Sun at 10:54 PM; you can call it a night after your intuitive download or plan the best times to take action on your new insights–your pick!

Tuesday 11 October 2012 you may find yourself suffering from monkey mind when the Moon forms a sextile to Mercury at 12:22 AM; while it’s great if you’re burning the midnight oil for writing and communication projects, it may not be great for those who want to sleep.  See Monday night’s list of sleep aids if insomnia descends upon you.  The rest of the day will likely be spent dealing with a delay inducing square between the Moon and Saturn at 2:58 PM; plan on being very patient today as delays, snags and other challenges are likely.

Did you know you can get a reading with me for as little as $25 (for 15 minutes); learn more about what I do and book your Astrology or Tarot session here.

We’re counting down to a New Moon on Saturday, join me here Wednesday morning for the latest astrological scoop as we prepare to reboot and renew!  Wishing you happiness, prosperity and love.
