Astrology Predictions for 6-12 January 2013

Scorpio

Scorpio

Greetings Friends!

The first full week of 2013 begins with a waning Moon in Scorpio, that means transmutation, transformation, mystical and intimate experiences are in focus–no lightweight stuff in sight!  Clean up old projects and prepare for a bit of low energy as this lunar cycle winds down to a close (the New Moon is on the horizon for Friday in Capricorn).  The energy is at its lowest Wednesday through Friday as we enter the dark of the Moon phase; self care is extremely beneficial (Reiki, chakra balancing, exercise, extra rest and healthy foods, etc.); do what you can to keep your energy and mood up through the first couple of days of the New Moon cycle.  And now, on with the show (Note:  all times indicated in this blog are PST)!

Sunday 6 January 2012 (5 Stars):  Inspirational or prophetic dreams haunt our sleep when the Moon trines Neptune at 12:15 AM; paper and pen at your bedside please, to capture nocturnal wanderings and insights.  Rise early and pencil in plans to do some major release or affirmation work when Mercury conjoins Pluto at 8:42 AM–time to transform those negative thoughts and habits that keep you locked in unsatisfactory circumstances!

Avoid ruffling the feathers of known caustic or angry folks when the Moon squares Pluto at 2:05 PM; if you’re the type who is easily angered, try a quick walk around the block or other frustration alleviating activity to surmount tension.  Another transformative aspect arrives in the form of a Moon-Pluto sextile at 2:24 PM; this one doesn’t pack quite the same wallop, but if you slept through this morning’s Mercury-Pluto aspect you can still do a bit of law of attraction work now and it will stand you in good stead.  Communications projects get the green light when the Moon forms a sextile to Mercury at 3:06 PM; you can knock out those blogs, emails or presentations before the close of the weekend–kudos to you!  Take some time to organize your communications projects when Mercury forms a sextile to Saturn at 3:44 PM; yes it will feel like work, but you’ll be glad to have it over and done with when you finish.

Moon in Scorpio colors:  Black, dark brown, dark green, orange, red, dark red or maroon.  Crystals:  Tiger’s eye, opal, obsidian, jet, agate, amethyst, bloodstone or aquamarine.  Incense/Essential oils:  Patchouli, musk, violet, vanilla, gardenia or honeysuckle.

Monday 7 January 2012 (1 Star):  We’re back to our one/two star weekly melodrama as we begin the first full work week of 2013; remember what I said about self-care this week and make time for some energy work before the first back to school/work sessions of the New Year.  A Moon-Sun sextile at 3:31 AM comes a bit too early, but if you’re up, pay attention to intuitive insights and pencil them in for action at a later date since the Moon is void of course after that aspect until tomorrow.  A square between Mars and Saturn at 11:33 AM is probably going to create a lot of stubborn, grouchy energy.  A mid-day break at the gym or an early lunch with a nice walk helps melt away tensions.

Tuesday 8 January 2013 (3 Stars):  The Moon enters Sagittarius at 12:28 AM; athletic activity, writing/publishing projects, dealings with the law, higher education institutions, people from or at a distance or religious activities will be the focus over the next several days (think big)!  A square between the Moon and Neptune arrives at 2:34 AM; thankfully those of us on the left coast are sleeping; everyone else be on the lookout for foggy/deceptive thinking or inaccurate information from some quarter.  No signing agreements of any kind until you’re able to think more clearly.  Dynamite insights (sometimes literally) come swooping in care of a trine between the emotional Moon and ingenious Uranus at 8:29 AM; do what you can to harness the energy for your own key projects.

The latter aspect might lead you to think a little too big, especially when the Moon opposes Jupiter at 12:05 PM.  Think in a balanced way–you probably haven’t hit the lottery yet and the after Christmas bills may be pending, so make sane choices at this time.  A quick jog or trip to the gym is a healthful way to take advantage of the sextile between the Moon and Mars at 6:28 PM–and helps you avoid devolving into arguments with others.

Venus enters Capricorn at 8:11 PM and it will be all about the Benjamins now till 2 February when Venus decamps for Aquarius; what did love have to do with it anyway, seriously?!

Moon in Sagittarius colors:  Mauve, indigo, gold, red, green, or black.  Crystals:  Lapis lazuli, amethyst, sugilite, turquoise, or opal.  Incense/Essential oils:  Sage, frankincense, rose, copal or dragon’s blood.

Wednesday 9 January 2013 (5 Stars):  Only one aspect and it’s a chipper sextile between Venus and Neptune at 9:46 PM; all that glitters may not be gold, but it darn sure will be pleasing to the eye (and the spirit), so enjoy!  Oh, and the Moon is void of course after that last aspect until tomorrow morning…

Thursday 10 January 2013 (4 Stars):  The Moon’s swift move into Capricorn at 12:54 AM is the prelude to tomorrow’s New Moon; ambitions, frugality, planning, and perseverance are the watch words for this Moon transit.  Inspirational dreams arrive courtesy of a Moon-Neptune sextile at 3:03 AM, so be ready with pen or paper at your bedside.  Love and money are in a really good place for you as the Moon conjoins Venus at 3:31 AM, but a square between the Moon and Uranus brings arbitrary and unconventional behavior–be prepared.  Power to burn when the Moon conjoins Pluto at 4:22 PM–this would be more helpful if it happened after the New Moon; use it now to release those aspects of your career ambitions that no longer work for you.   Planning and organizational activities help you create order in your world when the Moon forms a sextile to Saturn at 5:18 PM.

Moon in Capricorn colors:  Black, grey, dark brown, dark green, royal blue, blue or white.  Crystals:  Obsidian, jet, black diamond, black amethyst, jet, garnet, moonstone or malachite.  Incense/Essential oils:  Myrrh, honeysuckle, gardenia or mint.

Friday 11 January 2013 (5 Stars):  The Moon conjoining Mercury at 4:25 AM makes you a communication whiz–unfortunately it’s 4:25 AM…if you’re awake, work on communications projects, but make your pitch for a new objective after the New Moon arrives and after the void of course that immediately follows today’s New Moon.  Speaking of said New Moon, it arrives at 11:44 AM at 22 degrees of Capricorn; your career and personal fulfillment objectives are up to bat during this lunar cycle.  What can you do to hit the bullseye (career wise) this year?  The Moon won’t leave void status until tomorrow, so avoid starting anything new until then.

Saturday 12 January 2013 (2 Stars):  The Moon enters ingenious Aquarius at 1:10 AM; clever creative ideas, technological prowess, friends, group associations and our deepest desires are in focus for the next couple of days.  And speaking of ingenious…ingenious ideas are free for the picking when the Moon forms a sextile to Uranus (Aquarius’ ruling planet) at 9:09 AM.  Good luck, good fortune and optimism abound when the Moon trines Jupiter at 12:11 PM–lotto ticket anyone?  Onerous people or situations present themselves to you when the Moon squares Saturn at 5:58 PM (oh yay) followed by disruptions around love and money concerns (Venus square Uranus at 8:13 PM).  You might want to spend the afternoon hours at home by your lonesome–seriously.

Moon in Aquarius colors:  All shades of blue, especially electric blue, hot pink, turquoise, silver, neon/fluorescent shades.  Crystals:  Aquamarine, amethyst, laboradorite, celestite, clear quartz.  Incense/Essential oils:  Sage, lavender, mint or rosemary.

Rich Blessings!
